I had an incredible experience living in this apartment building. Of all the apartments I have lived in, this was by far the best one. The apartments had modern and quality construction. Whenever I needed to submit a maintenance request, which was rare, the maintenance team was extremely fast and professional with the repairs. I thoroughly enjoyed the amenities including the covered parking garage, pool, relaxing lounge area, recreation room and probably the largest gym I have ever seen for an apartment complex. The lounge itself felt like walking into a luxury hotel; large indoor fireplace with an open kitchen and another outdoor fireplace with couches and nice large chairs to relax. I appreciated how the friendly staff organized numerous community events that included plenty of food, drinks, and entertainment. They also seemed to have constant projects going on to improve the building such as new carpets, new paint, and new furniture for the lounge. The location of the Metropolitan also added positively to the experience. There are numerous restaurants and other entertainment within a short walk of the building. Overall this was an amazing place to live and I would happily choose this location if I am ever back in the area.

Quality has torpedoed in the last 2 years. I have lived at the Met for about 4 years now. Most of my experience has been great. Staff, amenities, customer service, neighbors, etc. However something in the last 2 years has been slowly killing this building. I hate to pin the blame on the staff since every individual interaction I have had has been great. But I don't know who else to blame. We have unimaginably bad customer service. I'd say 70% of the emails I send to the leasing office do not get responded to. It's gotten to the point where I have made a habit of just copy and pasting my email after about a week of no response. A continuation of the customer service issue is the horrible maintenance of the amenities. Our only bench in the gym being broken for over a year. I have emailed about it probably a dozen times or more. I was then told we would get a replacement in Q4 of 2025. Somehow it not only has not been fixed, or replaced, but now it is 2026 and they removed it entirely! Which is frankly a much worse state than we were in before! Like come on guys, this is maybe a $150 fix, at this point I wish I just bought a bench my self. There's numerous other issues too, pet waste in the elevators and halls just left unattended, but at least I could chalk that up to rude neighbors, since the cleaning folks are great and deal with it promptly. The lack of reusable cups for our buildings coffee machine (then blaming it on the environment, again come on people). I could go on and on. It's sad because I love this building, but my experiences have made it to where I tell others to stay away and will likely be moving once I get the chance.

I'd like to thank the Community Manager, Sean, for consistently going above and beyond to help the residents of the community. In addition to the excellent management, the entire front-end staff is also incredibly helpful and nice. I also can't thank the maintenance staff enough for their hard, speedy work. I specifically recall the time when I was moving into The Met when Dipper and Vince both helped me out beyond anything I would've expected- it was a bit stressful moving from out of state but their assistance made it exceptionally easier. You can tell the staff here genuinely cares about their residents.

I've never had to write a one-star review, but my experience with The Met has been truly awful. Please reconsider if you are thinking about making The Met your home. My girlfriend applied (3 months ago) to be my roommate, but to this day we still have to share a single key to the apartment. Also, she paid the application fee with a money order. Last month, a duplicate charge for it was included with my rent (because they lost it). Not a problem, right? After speaking with management, they said they found it and promised to remove the charge by February 26th. It has been two weeks now, and we have been repeatedly ignored. I have spoken to the leasing office on a weekly basis for 3 months to get the additional key and we have nothing to show for it. My girlfriend and I still have to share a key. I’m not sure if it is a shortage of staff or general mismanagement but expect to have to fight tooth and nail for even the smallest things if you live here.

So far so good! The apartment is very nice, lots of space for a 2 bedroom. The staff has been great so far. I took my tour with Anthony and worked with Ace on the leasing process. They were both awesome. I am not very patient when it comes to apartment issues so I have bugged the office staff a few times via email, but I have found the best way to communicate with them is in person. (Remember, they are busy with other tenants as well as the new property going up next door). They have handled all my needs since I have moved in, even prior to move in. (Fixing up damage, maintenance requests - even though I am annoying). They are all great people. (Remember, they are busy with other tenants as well as the new property going up next door). I haven't had any issues with noise from other tenants. Everyone I have met so far has been cordial and open to small talk. Amenities (grills, pool, gym, mail system, game room, lobby) are great as well and being so close to the mall has been awesome. Wegmans is just down the road as well, about a 10 minute drive. The parking garage is nice, but just take care and go slow. Many people fly through the garage and the corners are tight.
