  Pros and Cons from a resident that's lived here a little over 6 months (with my adorable best friend) 1. The Bluffs at Fairway Hills (pictures 1-5) *most affordable 1 bed $1642 2 bed $1860 Pros: you do not pay for water/sewage/parking (so additional monthly costs are gas/electric and wifi; cheapest apartments), large windows with lots of light, pet friendly ($350 deposit, $25/mo pet rent), large closets/storage space, and I have never in my many years of renting seen maintenance requests resolved so quickly. Cons: shared laundry room & they charge you per load, small water heaters (cannot fill bath full of warm water), and the grounds are not well landscaped like other complexes. *** If you move in, use my name (Cassidy Droubay) to help me save on rent :D I've also done research on four other complexes on Columbia Road to help you compare. We have several communities of townhomes/condominiums on this street as well (Heatherfield, Forsgate Condo, Dorsey's Search Townhouse/Condo, and The Greens at Fairway). 2. Columbia Glade (pics 6-7)- *prettiest landscaping 1 bed (none available as of July 2026) 2 bed $1971 Amenities: pet friendly (deposit $500, $50/mo rent), 1 pool, grilling area, package lockers, in-unit washer & dryer. 3. Autumn Town Center (pics 8-9)- *prettiest pool area 1 bed $2252 (14 months) 2 bed $2018 (15 months) (has cheaper 1 bedroom option but none available as of July 2026) Amenities: pet friendly ($450 deposit, $50/mo rent), 1 pool, grill area, playground, dog park, fitness area, clubhouse, in-unit washer & dryer. 4. Avalon (pics 10-11)- *most private/secluded (the woods) 1 bed $1865 2 bed $2290 Avalon has two communities on this road, the meadows and the woods. Amenities: pet friendly ($300 deposit, $50/mo rent), 1 pool at each community, grill area, fitness area, tennis courts, resident lounge, package acceptance, in-unit washer & dryer. 5. The Brook (pics 12-13) 1 bed $1745 2 bed $1925 Amenities: pet friendly (unknown deposit, $30/mo rent), grilling area, lounge area, playground, dog park, package acceptance, in-unit washer & dryer.
