It certainly wasn't perfect—there was a fair amount of resident turnover, some questionable behavior in the common areas, occasional nearby crime issues, and the surrounding area had its share of serious incidents. That said, my own experience with the apartment itself and management was generally satisfactory, and I've lived in places that were considerably worse. Four stars may seem generous, but I'm rating Wintergreen based on my overall life experience as a renter, rather than expecting perfection. For the price and what I needed at the time, Wintergreen served me well, and I have more good memories than bad ones.
