  I helped my friend move in over the past weekend, and had the pleasure of meeting the front desk member, Felix. He was very helpful, attentive, and professional. His energy and spirit adds a nice addition to the building. I know my friend made the right choice for her new home.

  This building is generally an ok place to live, but despite its high cost, it is not even close to being a luxury building. The elevators often smell weird because pets pee on the elevator carpets, the paint on my walls is cracking and peeling, the washing machines break frequently, and there are occasional cockroach problems that may result in a surprise exterminator coming into your unit to spray even if there are no cockroaches in your unit. Most importantly, there are SERIOUS ISSUES with the HVAC system so there will be many days when your unit will be over 80 degrees inside because you have no air conditioning. This week, it has been in the 90s, and we haven't had any air conditioning at all. This is absolutely brutal as the apartments have no natural cross ventilation. I have complained about this issue many times, but I keep being told that it takes time for them to switch from heating to cooling, and that repairs need to be made to their HVAC system. There is no point in trying to talk to building management because they are so burned out from getting so many complaints that they will ignore you or just tell you to close your blinds and buy a fan (which does nothing but blow hot air around when indoor temperatures are >80). If they decide to do last minute emergency repairs during a week where temperatures are >90 degrees and those repairs take over a week to be completed, then I believe the real issue is that the HVAC system simply doesn't get maintained properly. They do eventually turn the AC on before the start of summer, but absolutely do not rent here unless you are ok with paying $2000/month to not have any air conditioning during every heat wave in the spring.

  I have had continuous, constant issues with this building. The only saving grace is a lovely Front Desk staff And that the property is generally clean. Other than that There are constant disturbances and aren’t accounted for with the steep rent. The AC unit struggled to function regularly and there are building wide fire alarms almost monthly. The elevators are out at least twice a month and it’s just an all around ridiculous

  I’ve been living here with my mom for the past couple of months now. And living here is amazing, Felix at the front desk is always nice and greets everyone that walks in the door. He is a ray of sunshine and always makes my mom and myself day whenever we see him in the lobby.

  Had the same plumbing issue 2 months apart, all resulted from vacant unit upstairs that management had failed to fix. First leak resulted in an exposed hole that lasted about 2 weeks until it was fixed, but continued to release fumes until early Feb. Management slow to response about fixing the root issue and did not update me on the timeline of fixing my unit or the unit above. Not good for physical health, hygiene or mental health.
