Good afternoon,
We are urgently seeking assistance regarding our application for a 2-bedroom apartment at The Fields of Bethesda.
We have already paid the $48 application fee, and the screening company has confirmed that our screening report was sent to The Fields of Bethesda. However, we have not received any updates on our application status.
We have tried multiple ways to reach the leasing office. The phone number appears to be unreachable, our emails have gone unanswered, and on three separate occasions we were told that someone would email us back, but we have not received any communication.
We have also submitted all requested documents as instructed, yet we have not received any confirmation or response. As our intended move-in date is July 1st, we are becoming increasingly anxious about the status of our application.
We would greatly appreciate it if someone from the team could review our application and help expedite the process, or at least provide us with an update on the next steps.
Thank you very much for your time and assistance.

since this seems to be the only way to get a response from this office or management. After previous email Jennifer reached out apologizing that it's taken five months for her to give me a response no matter the countless emails and calls. And then had the nerve to say she has never received the other 6 emails how comical and unbelievable. Then she assured my she would give me a call the following Monday it is now Friday and still no response and no response from ceo CFO or central billing either. I even tried calling her office and no one in her office knows her schedule for the property manager or when she'll be in like really? Not for they say they have any contact info for her manager, this place and management is a joke. What is the point of calling to apologize if you aren't doing anything to fix it and just make excuses that you are busy? You would think management dropping the ball so many times they would oversee this matter especially something so serious as to billing someones credit for a balance that is not even theirs. They are keeping my spouse from applying to any new apartment and reduce my credit because of this debt. And they say their handling this issues. I haven't lived here for THREE YEARS and have been calling for FIVE MONTHS. How long does it take for you guys to call the collection company and tell them to remove my file and that you guys made a mistake. You clearly stated it was an oversight on the previous review. And still no response or action. I can't even imagine how many other oversights there are with other accounts taking into consideration all these other reviews

Stay away from this place. Area is nice but management is extremely disorganized and are not responsive. I lives here over three years ago. I moved out and came in with my ex at time to remove me from the lease. Manager at time said she would remove me and to my surprise three years later I get a collection letter saying I owe over 20k for a balance that my ex accrued after I had moved out. After reaching out to office Jennifer admitted they dropped the ball but she rarely responds and the last email she said they fixed it and fault to give me something in writing no matter how many times I request. No one ever answers phones and five months after initially reaching out it is still showing on my credit. Makes you wonder how disorganized this office really is. You would think management would be more responsive after dropping the ball on such a serious matter

Don’t move here unless you really have to.
I lived here for four years. The apartment itself was manageable, but management was extremely disorganized. During my time there, management changed several times. The current front office staff consistently struggles with basic administrative issues. I was sent to eviction court multiple times in error despite never missing rent payments, which required me to take time off work. Each case was dismissed, but no one ever took accountability or explained the payment discrepancies with their third-party rent system.
When I moved out, they claimed I never submitted notice, thankfully I kept a signed copy of my intent-to-vacate form. Later, they attempted to charge me a $300 countertop resurfacing fee despite my security deposit being over $1,000, and they never responded to my questions about it.
As for the apartment itself, the buildings are older, which comes with typical issues. Toward the end of my stay (2025), I noticed large cockroaches. There was also a major leak that flooded part of the unit and was never fully resolved. Beware the A/C unit is very loud while in use, and lighting in the master bedroom is minimal.
The maintenance team was the highlight, they were responsive and did their best. The location is also very convenient to downtown Bethesda, with easy access to restaurants, stores, and public transportation.
