  Chris Hill was an excellent realtor and made the entire buying process very simple and straightforward. Chris was willingly to assist with whatever was needed, which was especially helpful as a first time homebuyer. Chris was open and honest when viewing home, and will work with you to find a home that meets your needs. I would work with Chris Hill again in the future, and would be more than happy to refer him to any family or friends looking to buy or sell a home

  Chris really needs to self reflect as it seems as he has not learned from past mistakes. He was referred to us by our out of state realtor as he had many contacts being a board President and at first, it did make us feel we were in the right hands... however, we were quickly humbled. We were coming from out of state to buy in Maryland so all of our communication was by phone or email. He showed us a couple homes via facetime that I unfortunately couldn’t see well due to poor signal, so we relied heavily on word of mouth and pictures. Chris was really a matter of fact about things like, “oh it maybe needs a touch up,” so I ended up sending my mother up from hours away to see the property we ended up purchasing, he was also very slow to get things done and always had an excuse for why he didn’t do something i.e. family issues, flying out of state, buying his own home, or saying he did something but had no record of doing it. We found a home but Chris really swayed us against negotiating any less than asking but we stood our ground based on what my family had seen in the home (written on walls and pee soaked carpeting). Also, since we had a contingency of selling our current property, Chris wanted us to agree to the sellers request of not backing out of the deal regardless of inspection findings. It was clear he was not in our corner. Fast forward, the seller had accepted our offer but we requested that certain items be fixed/cleaned, Chris didn’t even send us their response because he was busy in Las Vegas and said he would only pay for half of the repairs they didn’t agree to because we missed the response DEADLINE that HE DIDN’T TELL US ABOUT and what’s worse is he waited 2 months after closing and a lot of calls from me to actually complete them. Due to the stressful nature of our move, I realized we hadn’t received any receipts for the work the sellers agreed to complete and Chris didn’t provide those upon closing because he was dealing with a family matter that rendered him unavailable the whole week before and after closing. I contacted him to send the receipts and after over a week, he confessed he didn’t have them and didn’t follow up with the listing agent. I ended up contacting the listing agent myself and received the receipts in less than an hour! I should’ve backed out having him represent us early on but we were truly in a time crunch. I’m writing this in hopes I can save someone else from a repeat experience. Don’t waste your time with the Hill Team!

  Chris Hill and his team were recommended to my husband and I as we made a move from coast to coast. They were absolutely amazing! We took his recommendations and worked with his network of local professionals who made purchasing a home a breeze. Chris was patient as we worked through the process of trying to find the right place. He was honest about home assessments, and his exerience as former home builder was a real asset. I work with real estate professionals in my field often, very few are as qualified and pleasant as Chris and his team.
