Our rent has been significantly raised over the past term. We have forwarded problems that have existed for a lengthy period of time - rather basic and simple items that continue to be unaddressed: Before raising these few matters, we draw your attention to the fact that the front desk support staff and maintence personnel are exemplary. Here are the problems that continue to go unresolved and that have been noticed by not just other residents but also by guests that have visited the building:
1) The credenza that faces the resident elevators has been damaged for years. Because it is topped by a veneer, the wood is chipped. It is a terrible eyesore and one of the first things that a visitor to the building sees. The piece of furniture should be replaced.
2) The gray industrial carpet that faces the same elevators is badly stained and should be replaced. Probably this is due to movers who cannot use a freight elevator. Maybe the insistence on using a drop cloth could prevent future stains. Whatever, it is another continuing eyesore that confronts any visitor to the lobby who intends to use an elevator.
3) The furniture in the lobby two front windows should be returned to its original central lobby position. Few people use it because of its location. So too should the long table. It was sometimes used by residents with their PCs. That is no longer true.
4) The landscaping company fails to consistently maintain the planters in front of the building. There are often dries and dead plants in plain view. Other buildings seem to do a better job.
We have had friends who have sold their homes and sought to move to an apartment setting that have chosen not to apply at Bethesda Place and have specifically noted some of the matters raised above.

Even though I’m new to the building, I can already say that I love living at Bethesda Place Apartments. The convenience is unbeatable; everything I need is within walking distance. Having access to a 24-hour gym is a huge plus and really adds to the quality of life here.
What truly stands out, though, is the concierge team. They always greet you warmly and genuinely care about the residents. Their attention and kindness make this place feel like home. They are truly outstanding.

Lived here for 9 months and renewing my lease. Truly a great place to call home. An older building that still uses real keys instead of fobs. Best location, nice decor (hotel vibes), lowest parking fee around, quiet (concrete), clean, safe, stellar staff, prompt maintenance, tolerable management, courteous neighbors. That said, I hate the sudden reversal of the old pet-free policy. Some lack of privacy with so many buildings so close. Needs more common spaces. Still the best overall value.

Living here for 5 months my wife and I are thrilled with everything. The leasing agents are extremely nice: always giving a happy greeting while we go in or out of the building. Any minor repair has been handled quickly and well done. The location is a major plus for us with easy walking to the Metro station, grocery stores, library and many excellent restaurants. The building is perfectly quiet and other residents that we occasionally see are very pleasant. Overall Bethesda Place is a great choice for us.
