I lived here for several months and wanted to share my experience. After moving in, I only had about one month without noise issues. Since then, I’ve regularly heard drilling and hammering from the apartment above, often beginning around 7:30 AM on weekdays. I reported the issue to management multiple times over the course of four months, but the situation did not improve during my stay. This experience had a significant impact on my ability to rest and affected my overall living experience. I hope future residents have a better experience than I did.

Think carefully before choosing this apartment. My experience here has been extremely disappointing. The biggest issue is not just the constant noise, but the management’s complete lack of action. For months, there has been repeated loud drilling and construction noise coming from the unit above, often starting early in the morning. I have contacted the management multiple times by email, yet my concerns have largely been ignored. Instead of providing explanations, updates, or meaningful solutions, they repeatedly fail to address the issue or respond to my requests. As a resident, I expect management to enforce the property’s rules and provide a safe and reasonably quiet living environment. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. The ongoing noise and the lack of response from management have had a serious impact on my mental well-being. The stress has become significant enough that I have sought professional psychological counseling on multiple occasions. If you are looking for a place with responsive management and a peaceful living environment, I would strongly encourage you to think carefully before signing a lease here.

I recently moved out and wanted to take a moment to recognize my apartment manager, Hilary, for making the entire process stress-free and efficient. They were responsive, prompt, and incredibly professional throughout. When it came to a pre-existing issue with the floor - something that was already there when I moved in and those that are wear and tear issues - they handled it fairly and made sure I wasn’t charged for it. That kind of honesty and attention to detail really stand out. I really appreciate the honesty and professionalism during my move-out process. Highly recommend the management team.

I loved living here! I lived in 1405 for 15 months and it was the best experience. Maintenance is really responsive and fast. The leasing office is very helpful. The activities they have for the community are always really fun. The amenities are great. The view on the 11th is amazing specially in the morning. Location is amazing, between Harbor East and Fells. I lived on the street side, street tends to be a bit noisy during the weekend because of all the bars but it’s usually pretty manageable. Apartments are soundproof never heard anything from neighbors. Neighbors are very friendly, met most of mine on my floor. I didn’t have any issues at all. If i wasn’t moving cities would have never left. Have recommended and would recommend living there 100%.

UPDATE: I would strongly advise against renting with this apartment company. I have still not received my application refund, and it has now been over a month since I applied. I submitted my application at the end of March. I was told that a refund check was mailed on 4/10, but as of today (4/20), I have not received anything. The company has refused to reissue or properly track the refund, leaving me no choice but to file a complaint with the Maryland Attorney General and enter the mediation process in an attempt to recover my money. I have since seen reviews on other platforms describing similar experiences, where renters were only able to receive their refunds after filing formal complaints. Notably, the company responded to my public Google review immediately, while my private email remained unanswered for weeks. The leasing office’s email communication was extremely curt and unresponsive. I had to send multiple emails to get a response (still awaiting one). Moreover, they don’t refund the refundable application fee directly to your bank account. Instead, they require it to be mailed to a physical address and don’t provide any updates on when it’s mailed. When I inquired about the units, the person seemed irritated and said they had already sent me YouTube videos of representative units. Despite claiming to be friendly to resident physicians, they were unaccommodating and unhelpful during my apartment search. They didn’t offer to arrange a virtual tour of any of the units. Many of their units are out of the income threshold for typical resident salaries in the area, and they are not lenient with this requirement. Given the poor communication and lack of units within a resident physician salary range, I ultimately decided not to proceed with the application. I am still awaiting my application fee refund check for an application that was submitted weeks ago.
