I love living here! The amenities and location is perfect. I had an issue with trash that needed to be escalated and the manager Kalie was so helpful and professional. I was starting to get upset and she did not but reassure me that my problem. She stuck to her word too!

I applied for an apartment and sent a $250 money order to reserve the unit. Unfortunately, I did not get it. They admit to have received my money order and losing it. Since they did not cash it, they refuse to refund it to me.
---
Full story: I applied for a 1BR in May, Olga Petrikova was my point of contact. She said that to reserve the unit I should send by mail a pre-paid money order for $250, since their online system was down. I did, and by the following day she said the unit was off the market because someone else got it before me. Bummer, but it happens- I asked for my application fee to be refunded. She said they received it (and the Fedex tracker corroborates it was received and signed for by Mr Reyes), but again because the system is down they could not just yet cash it to refund me. She asked for patience while they worked on this.
A month passes and I asked if I could get refunded by now, she says the system is still down. A few more weeks pass and at this point she stops replying to my emails. What follows is another month of my emailing her without response. I tried calling the leasing office were the person in charge of refunds is never present but I leave several requests for a callback that go unanswered. By this point, I have already moved to Baltimore at a different building so I pay the leasing office a visit in person. Same thing- the person in charge of refunds is not present but I leave a request for a callback that goes unanswered for weeks.
After weeks of this, I finally received an email back from Hilary Rouse. She says that indeed they received the money order but have misplaced it. Since they lost it and did not cash it, they will not refund me. Instead, I can submit a money order inquiry at the USPS to petition the money back from them. I go through this, but I am unable to submit the inquiry as I don't have all the paperwork the USPS requests. Bear in mind it has been by now almost 3 months since the money order was generated and at a different city. I relay this to Hilary and her answer is "too bad, we still will not refund you". At this point she has stopped replying to my emails.
In summary I sent in good faith $250 to the leasing office for an apartment I did not get, and they have received the money, promised a refund once their system is back but I should wait for this to happen in months. In those months they lose my money order and now refuse to refund it to me. I cannot believe something that would appear as obvious as refunding an application fee is such an ordeal (3 months already) and now they refuse to take responsibility for it.

Hillary, Matt, and Olivia were all fantastic and resourceful during my two years here. Anytime I experienced an issue, it was addressed promptly with professionalism and kindness.

Former resident!
My security deposit refund check was mailed to the wrong address. Two months later I haven’t received it! The managers office is less than helpful. They not only mailed it to the wrong address, but requesting a reissued check has been a trial in itself. Every time I call either no one picks up the phone or they are “still working on it”
They’ll also charge you for rent after your lease is terminated to beware of autopay and linking your bank. I’ve been fighting to get a refund for a $2k erroneous charge for three weeks! The most help I’ve been given is to “call my bank”. I get conflicting answers every time I call the managers office. They’re “working on it” “tech issue” blah blah. It’s been three weeks and for some reason they seem to be incapable of reversing the charge.
If you value your time and money, do not rent here!

I’ve had a great experience working with Hillary Rouse, the Assistant Property Manager at 1305 Dock and 1405 Point Apartments. She is incredibly attentive, professional, and always polite. Any concerns or questions I’ve had were handled quickly and efficiently, which really speaks to her dedication and work ethic.
What stands out most is how much she genuinely cares about the residents and goes the extra mile to ensure a positive living experience. Exceptional service all around. I truly appreciate her support!
