This place is INFESTED with a massive roach problem.
Ive been dealing with this for YEARS and it’s not changing. The building I live in has a trash chutes on every floor and people throw LOOSE TRASH down it. Then the chutes get overflowed with trash. These bugs will never leave this building.
Roaches live in my furniture and come out every outlet, the sink, the holes in the microwave. There is roach poop everywhere.
They are behind my pictures that are on the walls and the roaches are never gone. Management treat units that report infestations but not all residents will report them so this building is never free of roaches.
I’d like to move immediately.
*Edit* June 23, 2026
The spray wasn't effective. I have roaches still coming into my unit. The overall building is not being treated.
I've also been fighting to get my unit sealed where roaches are coming into my apartment.
I'm getting told conflicting information in who is supposed to fix it. There are cracks in my baseboard and openings in my cabinets where the pest services did not fill them with steel wool and seal them off and management is saying that it's up to him to do it and his discretion and then when the spray took place that did not happen.
I put Post-it notes where the entrances were and nothing happened. The exterminator said he would spray in these holes, but as far as filling them that did not happen.
Also I requested the treatments to be behind my microwave and dishwasher since I see roaches crawl out of the holes in the microwave and the dishwasher because roaches are coming out of that as well neither have been removed and treated behind these appliances, which are hotspots for roaches. I specifically asked for these appliances to be looked into but because of the complexity of moving these appliances, nobody has done it yet. I spoke to Al who is in charge of the maintenance department saying that it's a two person job to have done. I hope that you can find two people to do it.
Roaches are coming out of these appliances. They will not go away until you take care of that. Roaches will not go away until you addresse the whole building. Which I was told happened on 2 June, but I have several neighbors that told me they did not have any treatments done so | was misled. This is very unfortunate because Beacon feels the need to lie to me. The truth is in the roaches and they're still here.
l've been continuously communicating with Avery George the resident service coordinator, Darlene Burgos, assistant, property manager, and Julie Nielsen, the director of operations. Unfortunately, this matter is still unresolved.
I have another spray scheduled for the 30th but until the whole building is treated and the gaps in my apartment are sealed I don't anticipate things to change and I still stand with my one star review.

this place is horrible , they charge you rent that you already paid . they don’t care if your dying in the heat during the summer or freezing to death in the winter . in 2021 we got our house broken into , we asked for a emergency transfer and they never helped us with that come to find out they never put us on the emergency transfer list . they broke into our door and they gave us a door that isn’t even supposed to be there . you try to speak to a manager they’re never around . they tried to evict us to to THEIR mistake we have proof we’ve been paying rent and they still tried to send us to court . we gave them letters from our therapist that that break in effected us and hoping that would help us move to a different apartment and they still never moved us . these people don’t care about you at all .. during the very cold winters we would be without heater for weeks and they wouldn’t do nothing , during the summer it would be 80+ degrees and they’d last weeks without helping us with an AC . don’t move here and i know they’ll try to delete my comment imma take a screen shot of this too . this is RIDICULOUS.

Pretty awesome community. The new managers are very efficient I hope they all stay. They keep things clean and when it snows they make sure everything is cleaned and with salt. The only problem I have is people smoke inside the apartments and it gets through the vents. I live in a town home and my neighbors smoke all day outside…….It’s very annoying specially since I have a newborn. Some people smoke in the patio areas too and it’s an issue if you live on the first floor, good luck opening your windows to let the place air out !!! I wish they would at least walk around and smoke their cigarettes and whatever else but then don’t. This is an issue everywhere around here. Many of my neighbors complain about the smoking, townhouses and in the buildings. All streets not just mine. Other than that I love living here, I work a lot including overnights so I am barely home but so far so good.
