Great experience at Ryder Apartments. Adrienne is always kind, friendly, and welcoming. Really appreciate everything she does!

Don’t move here. It’s impossible for management or maintenance to get back to you no matter how many voicemails you leave. The upkeep in common areas is also awful.

If you work a full time job, have small children or simply like to get a full nights sleep, this is NOT the place for you. There have been incredibly loud parties with police involvement on the pool deck every single weekend this summer, with some week days. The management team has done absolutely nothing to stop this.
In addition, management has blocked tenants from posting on the community page, not allowing for feedback or opinions to be shared with other tenants.
If you want help from management, good luck! I have waited in the lobby for 20 minutes, making periodic eye contact with the leasing agents, and they still will not come out of their offices.
This used to be a great building, with friendly staff and a safe, clean environment. The previous reviews speaking about the unsanitary building and pests are 100% true.
If you are thinking about renting here, take each review to heart. Tenants that have been here for years (myself included) cannot wait to leave.
This apartment complex Ryder at Revere Beach is going downhill very quickly. The new management company called STYL Residential that took over from Greystar last September is a huge headache and is just not present. They literally do NOT respond to emails 99% of the time - they don't care how serious or urgent the situation may be. You will be left ignored and frustrated.
Right now, we're dealing with BOTH buildings not having both elevators operating because they manually turned off one of them inside each building apparently due to expired inspections (since January 2026 and we're in May), which seems to be in direct violation of state law. They did not communicate at all with residents about this change whenever they decided to put the elevators out of service.
Many things break all the time (garage doors, entrance doors, package room door, fire alarm system, heating/AC in common areas and hallways, windows in amenities, Butterfly intercoms), which can understandably happen to a certain degree. The issue is that they simply do not care to fix it no matter how many times it is reported as service work orders to maintenance or in writing to the office. Heck, the big grey light pole in front of the 2nd building has been down for like 6+ months and just before that was down for over a year. There is another light pole that has been falling for months as well just waiting for a tragic accident to happen. You can even notice the difference of this management not keeping up with basic things like taking out the trash in many different areas of the building and surroundings for the pet stations - this is a newer problem. The trash suddenly accumulates and is left like that for days where DOG POOP is thrown and also in the area where the BBQ grills are. The carpets in the hallways are heavily stained all over and it's disgusting. People that visit mention it all the time that they are shocked how dirty it looks inside and can't believe it is not dealt with ever despite the high rents paid here.
Also, STYL is a relatively new company in MA as a property manager. Just look at their other recently acquired property in Fenway called The Harlo, which is much higher end. They had excellent reviews with a 4.8 out of 5 stars under Greystar, but all of their recent reviews in the last couple of weeks / months are all 1-star of residents complaining about STYL as well. They can't even keep up with one of the most expensive buildings in Boston, why would they even care to look at properly maintaining Ryder in Revere. Lastly, they have a big 'F' on BBB.org with complaints appearing as unanswered/unresolved for years. I have never seen so many vacant apartments the entire time I have lived here so it seems like it is starting to show the consequences of the negligence.
Lastly, every time a negative review is posted on Google, it seems like 3-5 positive reviews show up right after within days. This seems very much planned/strategic and may be the same management trying to bury negative reviews that show real experiences and struggles from residents paying pretty high rents for the Revere area.
Look elsewhere. They are in violation of so many things at this point with unresolved issues only accumulating with time that it's not worth wasting your time, energy, or hard earned money.

Third times the charm trying to post this review! Adrienne has been super helpful since she started working in the building. She's such a kind friendly face, always around to listen and help out! Ive been living here since May 2024, and she is the first leasing agent to actually take the time and get to know the residents.
Also shout out to Alex and Janelle who have been more than kind and helpful these past few weeks!
