TL,DR: Completely uncooperative management, Trashy neighbors, and Pests
My husband and I lived here for one year and I would rather have a year-long migraine than live here again.
The first thing we had issues with were roaches. We not only were not made aware that there was a pest issue in our building, but also not told of the process that needs to happen whenever they call pest control. We were required to empty out our entire kitchen and bathroom cabinets which took hours to do. On top of that, we were sometimes told this process was needed mere days in advance as if we could just live all bathroom and kitchen contents strewn about the apartment at the drop of a hat. One of these times, pest control was coming back two weeks later so we had to live like that for two weeks and we couldn't use our kitchen the way we wanted to. We have never heard of a pest control process that requires this.
The other problem with this property is the neighbors. Bearing in mind there is only so much you can do about this, I would not recommend someone living here because these are some of the trashiest people I have lived near. From screaming fights and banging doors in the hallways at all hours to people having entire BBQs and leaving all of their trash on the ground. My dog once found an old piece of meat when I was walking him. Even when management is complained to, these people just pretend nothing was said and keep on treating the property like a trash can. The parking lot was treated like a playground when there is a basketball court and an actual playground in the property. Kids ram their bike into the parked cars. One time a kid was hanging by the side mirror of my car and the mother was right there, not correcting them. Clearly lack of civic sense.
The biggest headache we had here was the ongoing issue with our ventilation system that management outright refused to take any real action about. For the ENTIRE YEAR we were there we had a problem where any time our downstairs neighbor cooked anything stronger like bacon, beef, or fish the smell would travel up to our apartment through the ventilation system and smell up our entire place. This is especially a nuisance because I am a vegetarian and it had gotten so bad that I started gagging and had to sequester myself in my room until it passed. Management was told this was a problem for the entire time we were there. The only thing they did was install a fan at the top of the HVAC vent which we told them was not fixing the issue. After several notices, they simply said they did everything they could and there was nothing more they were going to do. One time our neighbor downstairs was deep frying and it set off our smoke alarm, we weren't cooking at all or had cooked (we were working) which clearly indicates there was a leakage. Our entire apartment reeked of oil after that. Never once we had the so-called contractor they hired come and investigate the issue. They simply sent their maintenance guys to investigate and they always said it was not their area of expertise and they don't know a lot about it. Everyone including the manager was called to the apartment to smell the heavy food smells that entered our apartment. The manager literally said 'What the hell' thrice cause even she was shocked. But they later stuck to saying in close apartments like this, this is common. I've been renting apartments for the last 10 years and have never had this issue. This is not common. They simply did not want to fix the issue and kept looking for cheap hacks. This made it all the way to Beacon's higher-ups and they refused to take any other action other than just sending a contractor to the fan and confirm it's running, something they had done over and over before. The VP Ryan was in fact so rude and arrogant on the phone and wasted our time.
Overall, this place offers little more than a roof over your head. The longer we were there, the more clear it became we had to move out. We can only recommend people steer clear of this property.

Littlebrook Apartments is a wonderful community that is well-maintained and professionally managed. The property is clean, quiet, and provides a comfortable living environment for residents. The management team is responsive, friendly, and committed to keeping the community looking its best. The grounds and common areas are consistently cared for, creating a welcoming atmosphere for everyone who lives here. A great place to call home, and highly recommended for anyone looking for quality apartment living. 🏡✨😊

This apartment complex is managed by the most unorganized, uncaring, and incompetent property management staff. They are not responsive to resident concerns. They are more concerned with the exterior renovations than they are about the apartments themselves. As long as everything looks good on the outside, then who cares about the inside right? The maintenance manager is an arrogant bully that would rather confront residents than address their concern in a professional manner.
The buildings are old and noisy. You can hear people talking in their apartments from the hallway. The floors all have major creaks and you can hear each and every footstep above you.
There was a playground for children, but it was torn down because it became so dilapidated. There are many children in the neighborhood that run around unsupervised, screaming until 8 or 9 pm. The back parking lots are used by people who park to get high, which is constant during the summer time.
If you have concerns with anything, the staff is hard to reach, since their hours seem to vary. They seem very overwhelmed when they are confronted by an issue. It is nearly impossible to contact anyone higher up in the management company.
I would not suggest this place to anyone. It looks like a nice place, but between the staff, old buildings, and other crazy residents, I would tell you to keep searching.
