  I could not wait move out of my last apartment, although it took quite some time to get in, I'm glad I ended up here rather than somewhere else, and am so grateful I moved in here. I love it, the people are lovely, and kind,and think back when when my son was young, and wished we lived here, and appreciate that they offer so much for families, and for everybody here. I think it's a lovely place, I'm happy that I moved in here.Thank you

  Dont waist your money trust me this apartments are infested with mold, and good luck getting in touch with the property manager Amanda Sheingold, left her a bunch of messages trying to help a elderly family member and she does not care.

  since 10/2022 I’ve been complaining about the heavy second hand smoke and for the rest of the tenants there It’s been even longer, many years, one even died with the problem of heavy second hand spoke not resolved, (fought it two years) I was told when I collected signatures. I sent a letter with all signatures collected to Beacon Communities LLC in Boston office back in August of 2023, but nothing happened, only vain promises, I just went to the Board of Health in Brockton, let’s see what they can do, one can’t even breath in that apartment… horrible! Tenants there with health issues, and that guy smoking none stop affecting the rest of tenants and there’s nothing no one can do even with a “smoke-free policy” in place, ridiculous! update- well, Board of Health said it’s not an issue they deal with… update- as of today November 10th 2024 the problem persist and it has gotten worse- since I first posted here, I just went to live with my daughter because with all the stress I was experiencing in this apartment I’ve gotten sick… I told the office about it, but they paid no mind since they only care about the rent being paid. so I wasn’t staying in the apartment, only came to pick up clothes about once a week, if even, and I just came back to stay about three weeks ago only to find out that mice had made a home out of my new living room sofa, and tonight I can’t sleep… I moved into Chatham West apartments back in 2014 on a second floor, after two years there, it became very difficult for me to go up the stairs due to severe joint flare ups, so I requested a transfer on a Reasonable Accommodation basis with my doctor’s input as requested… after about five years living in a first floor apartment they suddenly decided that, according to some “state mandatory code” that apartment was chosen to be converted into a wheelchair accessible unit, and therefore they needed to move me elsewhere.. I then stated that the apartment I was in was already a Reasonable accommodation for me, even with grab bars in bathtub and all, the manager was surprised to hear that, but couple of days later still told me that I had to be moved… I can’t understand how can they take away an apartment I needed to give it to someone else who also needed it… even the entrance to that apartment was ground leveled making it easier for me to rolled my groceries cart in… it appears to me that an investigation should be conducted with Fair Housing, if possible, about discrepancies within the leasing office management. it’s 9:44pm and I see mice running by as I walk around in this apartment trying to figure out how I’m going to sleep tonight since I refuse to keep running out… I did called maintenance “someone will come by” in the morning with glue for the time being…
