I came in for a one-bedroom apartment tour but was told I didn’t qualify based on the income requirements, which I completely understand. While speaking with the receptionist, I asked whether a two-bedroom might be an option depending on the income limits.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get either woman’s name. The receptionist was kind, welcoming, and took the time to answer my questions. However, the woman who appeared to be the leasing agent didn’t greet me and immediately asked what my income was. The interaction felt very dismissive. She also commented that “young people like to move in with their friends and then don’t get along,” which leads to eviction. I never said I planned to move in with friends—I’m a young mother—and the assumption felt unnecessary and unprofessional.
I understand that qualification requirements are part of the process, but everyone deserves to be treated with courtesy and respect, whether they qualify or not.

Brian in maintenance is so kind. He fully explained why my stove burner kept not working, fixed it and was so professional. So much appreciation for Brian and all of the maintenance staff, who work so hard every day to make our homes functional and beautiful!

I wish I could do 0 Stars because this place is a joke they never came to fix things going on 6 Day with no dishwasher after being told it's getting fixed today nothing, all the time. Being told there to busy. This is not the first time. Edit update it took from August to January to come fix dishwasher 4 months and was told why can't I just wash the dishes for 4 months? Staff is very unprofessional and get very hostile and make it a hostile environment to living also lived here 4 years going on every spring. They fail there sec 8 inspection they've had to come back two to three times each year. Just shows how bad the maintenance team and management is here when they can't even pass a section 8 inspection takes three tries to pass inspection

I lived here from 6/10/2022 -> 9/22/2023, and I left due to the cost of rent being $2300/month. That clearly isn't a Villas at Old Concord problem as much as it is market price out here being high in general so I'm not reflecting the price in my review. As for my living experience, I had amazing service with multiple instances that I received basically immediate service fixing what was going on in my apartment. The first being my AC unit leaking from the ceiling of my bathroom into the bathtub, and the second being my refrigerator no longer working (while I was on vacation so everything had already spoiled and it was such a foul smell). They replaced the fridge the day I got back (so the day I found out), probably within 2 hours of me getting home. I honestly will probably change this to 5 star review it just depends on how much of my deposit I get back. It was a safe place to stay, and a pretty large apartment size in terms of sq. ft.
Update: I spent a lot of time cleaning my apartment at move out and was given my entire security deposit back. I've updated my review to 5 stars as well.
