  I really loved my experience living at The Mason. I moved from California, so I was really new to the area, Melissa and Courtney were amazing from the very beginning. They were always so welcoming and even helped me get familiar with the area, giving me suggestions for things to do and places to check out. That made such a difference when I was trying to settle into a completely new state. Living at The Mason was a complete 180 from the apartment experiences I had in California. The property was always beautifully maintained, and it was obvious that the staff genuinely cared about the community and making sure residents were taken care of. I loved stopping by the clubhouse for an afternoon pick-me-up from the coffee station, it was a nice perk. Any issue I had was addressed right away, and if something couldnt be resolved immediately, the commuication was always on point. I never felt like I was being ignnored or left wondering what was going on. Melissa, Courtney, and the entire staff made my transition to Louisiana so much easier and made The Mason feel like home. I'm incredibly thankful for the experience I had there and would absolutely recommend The Mason at Fremaux Park Apartments to anyone looking or a beautiful, well-maintained community with a staff that genuinely cares about its residents.

  My fiancé and I lived at The Mason and we absolutely loved it! The apartments were spacious and clean upon move-in, it was a quiet environment, and it was very safe. The ladies in the office were absolutely so helpful and kind! Any problem or concern we had, they immediately addressed it. Grateful for the time we had here and we highly recommend living here!

  Amazing housing, very clean, excellent maintenance, and a very safe place. The office staff are very kind, especially Courtney, and the management is excellent in helping customers. Even the maintenance workers are respectful and good with the residents and others. I honestly don’t know why the rating is bad but I’ve only seen cleanliness and good service. However, I hope they spray for insects more often — at least once every two months.

  This place is terrible. It took 2 weeks before my dish washer and my microwave was working. I gave them so much grace. The call box for the apartment was never working. I talked to them over 5 times wasting 3 hours of my life but I don’t think it’s ever going to work. Basically they can’t fix it so I just can’t use the call box. I have a key card and I have to badge people in or email them ahead of time to let them know if I have people that need to enter. The apartment gate is not working 80% of the time. And they switched the payment system and gave no grace period for setting the new payment system up and for the transition. I would be fine if everything has been running smooth from their end if they didn’t have a million issues that they couldn’t figure out. These people certainly holds their renters to high standards but not themselves. Not a happy experience.
