  This apartment complex appears good in the beginning. It’s clean, well maintained, and the yards look really nice year round. As you settle in, you realize there are quarterly inspections that require the staff to enter your apartment at any point during the the inspection day, fire alarms are tested at least twice a year, despite them saying it’s only an annual inspection, and the yard service crew (if living on the first floor) blow mulch onto your patio and will blow any door decorations off or break them if it’s standing up by the door with the leaf blower. If you’re a pet owner, have fun paying loads of fees. First there’s a convenience fee to just have a pet! Pretty standard for apartments, however this fee is not used at all for repairs or post move out cleaning. It’s just paying the complex money because you have a pet. There’s also a poop DNA fee because people there do not pick up their dog’s poop!! There will be a $100 cleaning fee for all pet housing apartments and this is paid after move out despite the fee not being mentioned at all during move in, in the lease agreement, or move out fee sheet. They claimed our dogs urinated on the carpet but our dogs are kenneled when we are not home and do not urinate in the apartment while we are home! We moved in to pre-used carpet despite them claiming carpet gets replaced after each tenant. Also upon move in, we had old flooring that was not glued down properly and it took a month and a half for them to fix the flooring, with three separate flooring people coming out and complaining about be previous workers work. A total nightmare! We are very glad to be done with this apartment complex and just caution those moving in or thinking about moving in. It’s one of the only nice complexes in town, so the options are limited!!

  I have lived here for a couple of months, the apartment was spotless on move in, the management has been a delight to work with, always willing to help anyway they can. The grounds are maintained beautifully, including the beautiful pool area and the playground. What I found to be remarkable is that even the maintenance man is always well groomed and polite. Everyone seems genuinely invested in making sure that everything looks nice and runs smoothly. I was skeptical about apartment living after seeing some of the places my children would move into, but the Summit has been a wonderful experience! It is always peaceful and quiet, I am truly blessed to have found my apartment!
