  Beautifully renovated building on the Bayou right next to the Downs where jazz fest is I walked into the courtyard outside beautiful European style Pool with outdoor Kitchen. The staff is phenomenal and cater to all the residence. Love this place

  I always love visiting my sister at American Can! I’ve toured the community myself, and it really is such a unique place. The leasing staff is always friendly and welcoming, and I love all the historic details and character throughout the building. The floor plans are especially cool, with so many different layouts that there really feels like there’s something for everyone. The amenities are great too, especially the pool and outdoor gas grills. Definitely a special place in New Orleans!

  My boyfriend and I recently moved into the American Can, and we couldn’t have been happier with the process and community! Michael gave us our initial tour, and was ready to answer any questions we had. It was a very positive first impression of both staff and building. Elizabeth helped us on our move-in day and made sure everything went smoothly. She ensured our wifi was set up immediately once we reported an issue connecting. She even called after we had moved in to check in and make sure everything was going well. I am a fan of all the perks of the Can-a great pool, a convenient gym, vending machines, package room, beautiful walkable location, a secure place to store my bike even. I also enjoy how much character and history the building has, with many different unique floor plans and layouts within. Every neighbor we have met so far at the Can has been lovely as well. It was a big vote of confidence to learn that several members of the team live in the Can themselves as well. I have experienced no issues along the way and have only been genuinely happy to have chosen the Can as my new home!
