  Every tenant knows that you don’t get what you pay for when you live here. Horrible management of this apartment complex. I’ve gone 6 days without a working oven and more days to come since they can’t tell me when it will be repaired due to being short staffed. They won’t give a call back even after calling them 3 times in a day. Tenants normally get fined for not following the rules, but what happens when you can’t provide the service you promise and we pay for in the lease?

  I have been living here for 4 years now. The ONLY good thing is the location. Mrs. Glenda is by far the only good employee here, very helpful and compassionate. The management over the last 4 years has been the worst I have ever had to deal with. Nicole is better than the last two however the other girl, Crue, has no compassion, empathy nor is she understanding or kind, she has been beyond rude in every encounter I have had with her. The maintenance workers don’t know what they are doing half the time. They play explicit music in their vehicles at the maintenance building when kids are in ear shot of vulgar music. It takes 3 plus days for them to respond to a maintenance call. It’s definitely not worth the cost of rent which is WAY over priced and they love to go up substantially every lease renewal. I have a neighbor who got in a financial bind, they didn’t want to work with them at all, in fact they put the “notice for eviction” paper on their door earlier then date the lease states. The only reason I gave 2 stars is strictly because of Mrs. Glenda and the location. Other then that, finding a new place will stay my stop priority.

  Ms. Glenda is amazing! She is helpful and prioritizes the residents concerns.( They cut her hours) Ms Nicole , the office manager is awful! When it rains, the parking lot is not passable and this manager would rather harass tenants than identify and fix problems. Please don't move here.

  I moved here from Texas back in March. They did not bother to make sure the unit I leased was cleaned and ready to be moved into. The day I moved in, the walls were not finished painted, dust caked on the ceiling fans and door frames, debris in the sink, a beat up front door, children’s stickers all over the windows/walls from the previous tenant, etc. After they admitted to not checking the unit before I moved in, Constance at the front desk, agreed to refund me, but then proceeded to completely ignore and ghost my calls/emails after I left the next day. In addition, they do not arrive during their advertised working hours. So if you need to talk with them in person, you will have to wait til they decide to open the leasing office. If you are considering moving into Lafayette Gardens, I would seriously reconsider. Very unprofessional.
