As has been previously stated. This complex has unethical practices regarding deposit returns and extra fees not in lease. They are not accredited by BBB. They were given a judgement to reciprocate deposit, court fees plus interest signed by the Small Claims Court Judge in April and to date they have completely disregarded and not honored the judgement. In retrospect they retaliated and 30 days after lease expired with zero attempts of communication to tenant they reported a bogus claim to a collection agency to ruin credit. Steer clear from this complex, unfortunately the management has her own rules.

I hate that I have to make this but it needs to be done. A little backstory on me. I served in the united states armed forces as an indirect fire infantryman. For a little over six years. After I got medically, chapter under honorable conditions. I got wounded.Yes, I had physical, but what really got me was my mental. The wounds you can't see. Shortly after getting out of the Army, I was at my VA. Doctor's and they've recommended me to get a service animal for my condition since i'm a 100% t total permanent and can use the help. Now, fast forward a couple years, and I'm looking for a place to live. Somewhere cheap? Because it's hard for me to find a job with my medical conditions to perform the job properly. That's when I found creekwood town and homes. A cheap place. I went in to fill out an application along with me.Came my service animal. He had his vest on and everything saying asked to pet before petting. Do not touch. This is a service animal with all the patches in everything on it. Telling people, hey, he is a service animal. As I was filling out the application. The representative I was with went to go get her manager. And she just comes into the room and says, I want to pet your service.Animal. clearly not reading the label on his vest, saying, do not pet.Ask the pet. No, she demanded it of me and I told her in a very polite way. Please do not distract him.He is working right now.I do not need him distract it. It's the right of the handler to deny people from petting your service animal. Maybe I should have just given up my right to let her pet him. So she said, no, and kick those out. Just because I wouldn't let her pet him. She says, I just want to see what his temperament was. You can clearly see he was just laying there right behind me. Keeping an eye out on me and you come over there and trying to distract him. He wasn't barking, he wasn't running a mug.He was in a down laying position.

I haven’t been living here for that long, but I’m already so impressed. The front office staff is incredibly kind and helpful, they answered all of my questions and were very patient with me. The environment here is really peaceful, it’s very quiet. All of the residents I’ve met are very friendly, kind and keeps to themselves. I’m really happy with my apartment so far!

First off, the office ladies are decent people. They treat you with respect if you do the same for them. Not sure what other people expect responses to be when you come at someone with an attitude from the get go. A couple of gripes though. They still make the returned deposit check out to my husband with my name nowhere to be found depsite me having paid the deposit originally and rent coming out of my account. Annoying but whatever. His name was also never changed on our lease after we got married despite me asking them to do so in writing when we went to resign our lease. Also had a kerfuffle with pet deposit/rent when we got our second cat. I emailed the office that we got another and weren't being charged the pet rent correctly, then a few months later I get a note on my door saying I wasn't being charged right and needed to turn in a deposit (I did as soon as we got the cat). The apartments themselves are decent. Kitchen is tiny, so if you like cooking I would suggest looking elsewhere. Somehow the one bedroom apartments have more kitchen storage than the two bedrooms. No pantry in the two bedrooms if you hook up a washer and dryer. Maintenance gets done as cheaply as possible, but the guys are nice at least. A/C filters are changed every month or 2 and pest control comes around every 90ish days. They will ask you to not run your A/C below 72 over the summer. Electric bill ran about $150 in the summer and $100 in the winter. It is also a pain in the ass to take a left out of the complex in the evenings, but nothing they can do about that. They do try to bribe people to leave 5 star reviews with the possibility of free pizza, so do with that what you will. Any review with a unit number on it was a bribe. They also do a crawfish boil once a year, had santa out for pics with the kiddos last year, and hand out candy on Halloween. All in all, not a bad place to live if you can put up with a few annoyances.
