  Friendly people, communication is good. Keep in mind though if you change your mind it can take a while to get your deposit back

  I highly recommend people to seek out a different home center. I feel like they aren’t there to help people. I placed a deposit, which took longer than they promised. When I got the check I see it was processed 10 days after I requested. We applied and was approved. We find out they submitted a credit app for almost 200,000. We had no prior knowledge of them submitting such a high limit. The mortgage company told us. They wanted to charge 10,000 to clear an acre of land. We paid 2600.00 for the clearing of the acre and to take all pines off. Check those hidden costs. Their pricing is not in line with other Clayton home centers. They told us we would have to pick a lesser home. I requested a break down of costs for land improvement. The prices they sent were so high, I did a double take. We our forever home and we didn’t have to sacrifice the features we want in the home. We are happy we went elsewhere. The level of customer service left MucH to be desired. Not returning phone calls, or responding to emails. To the contrary, the home center we decided to give our business to, worked numbers, and did their absolute best to make sure we loved the home we were going to live in. GO TO HAMMOND, it could literally not only save you thousands of dollars, but you will also have a better quality of service all the way around.

  Would never buy from them, their website doesn’t work. Takes forever to load and doesn’t work then.
