My 70-yr old disabled god mother lost her husband June 4th and we have been trying to relocate her from CA back to LA. She applied at Villaggio because their website stated they have elevators. She paid the $350 application fee (plus some) and was approved. She was then informed the unit available DID NOT have accessible elevators. When we advised there was no way she could walk 2 or 3 flights of stairs and asked for the $350 application fee back the request was refused (because she was approved). We were told had she been denied it would have been refunded. The lady I spoke with acknowledged the website saying it had elevators was misleading and she had previously reported it to management. I asked for a manager to contact me that has not happened. I've emailed and called multiple times and have yet to receive a response. Taking advantage of an elderly disabled woman who recently lost her spouse is morally reprehensible. I typically don't air our complaints like this on social media but the management at Villaggio has left me now choice. I have filed a complaint with the ADA organization in Louisiana and don't plan on giving up on this matter until Villaggio does the right thing.

I recently moved out after living at this property for two years. Unfortunately, my move-out experience was extremely disappointing. Prior to moving out, I was informed that someone would inspect the apartment and discuss any potential concerns. No one ever came as promised. Instead, after I vacated the unit, I was presented with what I believe to be excessive and unjustified charges without being given an opportunity to address any issues beforehand.
Throughout my residency, there were several ongoing concerns. I reported mold issues in both the bathroom tub area and around a window to management, including Ashley, but these concerns were not adequately resolved. During one maintenance visit related to these issues, a maintenance employee made a racially insensitive comment, which I found highly inappropriate and unprofessional.
Security was also a significant concern. Packages were frequently at risk of theft, and there were multiple incidents involving criminal activity on the property. On one occasion, after working a 16-hour shift, I was unable to access the complex because law enforcement was responding to a suspect fleeing through the property. In another incident, individuals were reportedly breaking into vehicles. Residents received little communication regarding these safety concerns.
Additionally, there is no assigned parking, which often created unnecessary inconvenience for residents.
After receiving the move-out charges, I made several attempts to contact the property manager and request corporate contact information to discuss my concerns. To date, I have not received a response.

This has to be by far the worst place I’ve ever lived.
For anyone considering these apartments, read this carefully: DO NOT APPLY HERE.
These apartments are overpriced, and they add ridiculous fees every month. I’m a truck driver, so I’m only home about one weekend a month. Yet every time I returned, there was a new issue—lights left on, ceiling leaks, air conditioning not working, and a toilet that barely flushed. I tried to be patient, but at this point it feels like they’re simply trying to take advantage of residents. I asked them before I moved in were they trucker friendly and explain that I’m not able to make every decision in person could it be done by email or online rather.. they agreed!
My electric bill was consistently over $100 a month, even though I was rarely home and had almost nothing plugged in. I eventually shut off power at the breaker and installed cameras to see what was going on. The maintenance staff entered my apartment and, in my experience, failed to properly address any of the issues I reported.
Before moving in, I pointed out several things that needed to be fixed. They never made a real effort to repair them, but somehow I was charged for those same issues when I decided to move out.
While working a job in New York City, I was unable to return in time to submit my move-out paperwork in person. I attempted to provide notice by email, but management refused to accept it. When I finally returned, they claimed it was too late. The entire process felt designed to create additional charges rather than help residents.
If you enjoy paying premium prices, receiving poor service, and risking damage to your credit, then this may be the place for you.
Also, if you like taking hot showers after work, look elsewhere. The water gets hot for a few minutes, then turns cold for the rest of the shower.
To make matters worse, management rarely answers calls, texts, or emails. I left countless messages and received little to no response.
Overall, my experience at Villagio Apartments was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend living here.

My fiancé and I recently applied to Villigo Apartments, and honestly, the experience was pretty frustrating. The application process took way longer than expected, and for about a week straight, every time we tried to call for updates, we were sent straight to voicemail with no response.
On top of that, we had to pay a $350 holding fee just to move forward. We did end up getting approved, but it was with a guarantor. By that point, we had already decided to go with a different apartment because of the lack of communication.
When I called to cancel our application, I was told that the $350 holding fee was non-refundable since we were approved with the guarantor even though the process itself was so difficult to navigate.
Just wanted to share our experience so others know what to expect going into the process.
