This was one of the very best experiences I had happen searching for a place to stay with the help of Leah from the front desk, she saved my life by forcing me to drink this horrible coconut water which was the worst, then I forced her to grab her a coconut water to get the same experience as she seen first hand how nasty this was lmao and her face showed it all LMAO! Very helpful lady, showed me the floor plans explaining everything, very relaxed, comforting playful experience and would most definitely recommend this to anyone in search of a place! Great lady an very professional relaxed feeling here at this place

Truly feel a little bit more than home when I come here at the flats on 5th. It’s like a mini community and the love I get from the staff that work here is by far the Best. Without a question this is home.
ROACH MOTEL — AND THAT IS NOT AN EXAGGERATION
I have never encountered a cockroach infestation on this scale in my life.
The roaches at Flats on Fifth are not an occasional nuisance or something you spot once in a while. They are everywhere—inside closets, sinks and drawers; across floors; and throughout the bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas and kitchen. At times, simply walking across the living-room floor means trying not to step on several of them.
The kitchen has become especially difficult to use. Trying to prepare food while cockroaches are crawling around the room, counters and storage areas is revolting and, in my opinion, completely unacceptable for a residential property.
These appear to be German cockroaches, and the infestation is so extensive that the insects seem almost completely undisturbed by human activity. They don't simply scatter and disappear when someone enters a room. They are out in the open, at all hours, as though they have effectively taken possession of the building.
To management's credit, pest-control personnel have been coming out and spraying regularly. Unfortunately, whatever treatment is being used does not appear to be solving the underlying infestation. If anything, immediately following treatment the roaches seem to emerge from their hiding places in even greater numbers, spreading throughout the property.
I have lived in South Africa and spent three years working with indigenous communities in some extraordinarily difficult living conditions. Even with that experience, I have never witnessed a cockroach infestation comparable to what I have seen at Flats on Fifth.
Calling this a "pest problem" does not adequately describe it. This is a severe, pervasive infestation that has reached the point of interfering with ordinary daily activities such as walking through the apartment, storing belongings and preparing food.
Weekly spraying clearly is not enough. This property needs a comprehensive, building-wide extermination strategy that addresses the source of the infestation—not another round of spray that temporarily drives thousands of roaches out of hiding.
Until that happens, "Roach Motel" is unfortunately an appropriate description of my experience at Flats on Fifth.

Aaron is hands down one of the best maintenance professionals a company could ask for. He’s reliable, professional, knowledgeable, and always willing to go above and beyond to get the job done right. You can tell he genuinely cares about his work and the people he helps. Any company would be lucky to have someone like Aaron on their team!
