The office employees including agents and managers are very avoidant and passive aggressive except the maintenance team. I have called, left messages, and emailed. Instead of simply returning a call, I will get a text or email which would be fine if the response was simple. However, sometimes there is a need for an actual conversation. To go back and forth over email or text when a simple phone conversation probably would have clarified everything up doesn’t make sense and again very passive aggressive and avoidant.
The residents in the townhomes aren’t provided a dumpster in the back of the property. Therefore, apart of the lease agreement is valet trash pickup per month for every resident. However, the worker for valet trash is only supposed to pick up just trash bags or broken down boxes.
In this case, trash will not always simply be things that fit in a trash bag or be a broken down box. I had a box spring to discard, but naturally that will not fit in a trash bag or my car to drive across the property to a dumpster. Nor will I be walking across the property to a dumpster that isn’t close to discard the box spring. This is where it gets interesting. The valet trash pickup is done in FLATBED TRUCK that literally then drives to the dumpster on the property and discards inside the dumpster. It doesn’t make sense that if something that doesn’t fit in a trash bag isn’t taken to the dumpster since again the residents in the townhome aren’t provided their own dumpster and already paying for valet trash pickup. To not be all inclusive of all trash is simply just money grab for profit for the property itself.
When I called the office, I originally spoke to Griffin who merely stated to figure it out. Griffin mentioned how it wouldn’t be fair to “cater” to every resident. As I mentioned to Griffin, the residents in the townhomes do not have a designated dumpster in the back to themselves. The residents in the back are actually paying for valet trash pickup, and clearly are already being treated differently due to this property not providing a dumpster for the residents in the townhomes. It would have been simple for me to put it in my car, and drive across the property to another dumpster to discard it had it actually fit in my car. However, what are the solutions when that isn’t simply the case.
I should not have to express to anyone professionally the proper etiquette to do their job that they’re getting paid to do. Griffin couldn’t provide any solutions, so I literally said if you can’t offer solutions when this property is apart of the problem go ahead and reach out to your manager Jennifer and have her reach back out to me rather it’s another phone call or email. I am positive that all of us who live in the townhomes have encountered this issue, and all have been solving it ourselves when that simply shouldn’t be.
I didn’t call the office to complain. I called the office to see if the office could provide solutions or a workaround to the facts their residents are paying for valet trash pickup that doesn’t pickup everything that can be trash. The residents in the townhomes AREN’T PROVIDED A DUMPSTER IN THE BACK OF THE PROPERTY EITHER, where a simple walk to the dumpster would be convenient and not exhausting! Especially when said trash doesn’t fit in the resident’s vehicle to simply drive across the property to discard.
Again, if the residents are solving this issue on their own when the issue itself is created by the property, I find that counter productive considering I do not get paid from the property to solve property issues. In addition to that, why are residents paying for a service that isn’t inclusive of all trash. Basically asking someone to spend their hard earned money on a service that isn’t totally complete or inclusive is a waste, and doesn’t make sense at all.
To pay additional money to another company for trash removal is outrageous. I would advise anyone considering this property as a potential resident community to live to disregard since the employees of this property much prefers the reside
