  Lived here for over a year. Keep to myself. Knew it was not the best place but with the economy felt I had no choice. Numerous issues. Things that are classified as emergency maintenance but they make you wait days to get fixed. Infested with cockroaches. I feel like I have adopted to living in filth. Trash, shopping carts, blood, poop always in the hallways. Picking and choosing which violations they will uphold. No parking. My neighbor has 7 spots filled. You can feel all the staples from the carpet because they was no padding put under it. I would say the one star is for the not releasing to the resident with drugs and hostage situation with guns, yes your reading that currently. Young children with no adult supervision. Stuff stolen and/or vehicles damaged. Delayed response times rather email or phone. The rent was up charged as I was signing my lease. The process takes awhile to get approved and I noticed the rent was $100 more than what we had been talking about. I only signed basically because I had no choice and needed a place asap. Drugs have been found in the parking lot. Police presence has died down with some of the residents gone I guess that’s a plus. I have lived in a few places in Lawrence and this is by far the worst experience I have had at a place. I wish there was an opportunity for the owner to make a presence, talk with residents and see what can change but I guess if the place is generating money what’s the point.

  The only reason I am writing this review is to show my appreciation to Santiago at Union at the Loop. I have had several apartments and none have ever been as smooth as he made our moving process. Union at the Loop is very lucky to have him on their team. I am not a family member or friend of his, he’s just nice fr and I appreciate his help 👍

  There is absolutely no incentive to rent here. Prices are high definitely not income based, no amenities, and so far out in Lawrence it takes forever to get anywhere.

  I applied for Union at The Loop which I really had high hopes for. I was told I was approved, after they completed their compliance review I was told we make too much money! I've been trying to get ahold of someone in corporate office which I have yet to receive a call back. I feel like some calculations weren't correct on their end

  When I first moved here I was very pleased until I stayed my first night and seen a whole colony of Roaches on my ceiling and coming out of my stove it took them months of me complaining to finally seeing a real exterminator come address the issue just to say it didn't last long .. I would not recommend union at the loop by any means
