The quality of the home itself is very good, and we are pleased with the finished product. The construction team did an excellent job, and I would rate the construction quality and overall construction team experience a 10 out of 10.
However, our experience with the sales team was extremely disappointing. Communication was the biggest issue throughout the process. Before we signed the initial purchase documents, communication was frequent and responsive. Once we signed, it felt as though we were no longer a priority.
Our salesperson was often unresponsive to calls, texts, and emails. Even our Realtor reached out multiple times to both the salesperson and their manager without receiving responses. As customers making one of the largest purchases of our lives, this lack of communication was frustrating and unacceptable.
We also experienced several situations where what was presented to us during the sales process did not match what was ultimately constructed. As a result, we spent months following up through emails, phone calls, and text messages to get issues addressed and corrected. This created unnecessary stress and significantly impacted our overall experience.
I would like to specifically recognize Christian, our construction project manager. He was consistently professional, responsive, communicative, and helpful throughout the entire process. He was the one person we could rely on to answer questions and provide updates. His dedication and customer service made a significant difference and helped restore some confidence in the process.
If I were to rate the sales team separately, I would give them a 4 out of 10. Unfortunately, because the sales team serves as the primary point of contact for customers during much of the home-buying journey, their performance had a major impact on our overall perception of the experience.
While we are happy with our home and appreciate the efforts of the construction team, I strongly encourage Pulte to review the responsiveness, accountability, and customer service standards of the sales organization. Improving communication and follow-through would greatly enhance the customer experience and better reflect the quality of the homes Pulte builds.

Updated review: Our overall experience has been disappointing, largely due to ongoing communication gaps and a lack of accountability across key roles. The Construction Manager did not demonstrate the level of urgency, ownership, or proactive follow-through we expected, which led to delays and a lingering sense that concerns were not being taken seriously. Communication was inconsistent, often reactive rather than proactive, and at times completely unresponsive, making it difficult to get clarity or resolution.
From the outset, the tone set by the Construction Manager was also concerning. We were advised not to “micromanage,” which, in hindsight, felt less like setting expectations and more like discouraging visibility into the process. Combined with the lack of follow-through, it created the impression that issues were not being fully acknowledged or addressed.
The Sales Consultant, while initially responsive and engaged, did not maintain that support. After indicating a willingness to help and escalate concerns, communication dropped off, and follow-through was lacking. This inconsistency added to the frustration and made it feel like there was no clear advocate or point of accountability.
Additionally, the repeated messaging that “no home is perfect, but we’ll build one that’s perfect for you” now feels more like a carefully worded disclaimer than a genuine commitment. Given our experience, it comes across as a way to manage expectations rather than truly deliver on them.
Overall, the experience felt disjointed, with poor coordination and limited transparency. What should have been a well-managed and customer-focused process instead fell short due to weak communication, lack of ownership, and unmet expectations. My honest advice is not to rely solely on what you’re told or promised. Have an independent inspector thoroughly evaluate the home before closing, and make sure you have your own real estate agent representing your interests.
Old Review: We recently built our Dream home with Pulte, and we truly couldn’t be happier with the experience! From the very beginning to closing day, the entire journey felt smooth, organized, and exciting, which says a lot because building a home can definitely feel overwhelming.
Christian, our Construction Manager, was absolutely incredible. He kept us informed at every stage, was always quick to respond, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was done right. You can tell he takes pride in his work. Anytime we had questions, he handled them professionally and made us feel completely comfortable throughout the process. Having someone like Christian overseeing the build made all the difference.
Joel, our Sales Consultant, was equally amazing. He made the initial process enjoyable and stress-free. He was patient, transparent, and took the time to walk us through every detail so we felt confident in our decisions. He never made us feel rushed and was always available when we needed clarification.
Overall, this has been such a positive experience for us. We’re so grateful for the team we had, and we would absolutely recommend Pulte, especially Christian and Joel, to any friends or family looking to build their dream home!
