  Lived here from August 2020 until August 2026. 6 years in an apartment is a huge commitment. And must say Shenandoah came out with flying colors. We moved from West Lafayette to Lafayette, and I think it was the best decision. Both of us were at Purdue so coming to Lafayette for the distance part was something we were not sure, but having lived here for 6 years we don't have enough words to describe how wonderful our experience was. Extremely clean apartment with maintenance showing up as soon as you place a work order. The lawn care is immaculate. Everyone in the office is committed to the job. Shout out to both the office and the maintenance staff. They are there for you no matter what. The apartment upkeep is so good that once you live here, it is genuinely very difficult to adjust anywhere else. And not only that, after we left, we received a personal letter appreciating our time at the apartment. Who goes to that extent to make you feel loved and special ?! Also, they did not deduct a single dollar after the move out inspection. Having lived in other apartments, we know how much of a stressor this one is. Everything is right across the apartment: Target, shopping complexes, eateries. So, location-wise, it's very difficult to beat Shenandoah. If we had not shifted, I would have continued to call it home for years to come.

  Kendra is awesome! Also, all of the staffs are great and friendly and also house looks very neat. Best place.

  My daughter and her bf recently applied for housing, paying the $160. She was denied based on her bf’s criminal background. Which they were honest about and is a misdemeanor for criminal mischief, falling off in December. Instead of just denying, Devon wasted mine and my mothers time having us apply as co-signers. While I understand my credit is only In the 600s, I have the income. My mom has the best credit and a hefty bank account showing she could make any payments, no problem. Devon took out money, we requested to hear from the property manager on multiple occasions and have yet to hear back. Did I mention her bf makes 5x the rent. She argued fair housing, and I promise you nothing fair was done. Very poor customer service. My daughter is a Purdue student working two job and needing an apartment.

  Our experience with Shenandoah has been absolutely amazing! The apartments are really kept up nicely, any maintenance concern we have had has been dealt with immediately and efficiently. We have had amazing communication with the staff with any questions we have had. The complex feels super safe and the price is incredible. We will be moving shortly due to outgrowing our space but we could not leave without saying how amazing our experience has been. The maintenance team had to come and replace our water heater that was leaking while I was in labor, and they were super respectful and very encouraging. Ever since then they have been so kind and helpful when they see me out with my baby (carried my trash to the dumpster once when they saw I was struggling). We love the staff here so much and are so sad to be leaving! We will always be thankful that this was our family’s first home!

  I moved in a few months ago and this is such a step up from previous places! The community is quiet and kind, the staff is polite, and they take care of issues as fast as possible! The rent is perfect for this level of place and of you're debating it I'd definitely go for it, there is a reason the wait-list is long for this place.
