  Hawthorne Properties is a top notch apartment complex for those looking in the Lafayette area. I have lived here for about 4 years and continue to be impressed with the customer service of the incredible staff. Desiree is genuinely kind, always happy to help and takes care of issues immediately. The communication is proactive and comprehensive with any updates on amenities or parking lot. Whenever I have a maintenance issue, whether air conditioning does work on a summer day, it is resolved immediately. I feel very taken care of at this complex, knowing I'm heard and feeling very safe. In each unit is a lot of storage space and in-unit laundry! The outside of the complex is clean, garbage is picked up on time, there are no disturbance issues. The clubhouse and pool are extremely clean and secure. Ultimately, if I could give 10 stars I would. I can't believe that an apartment complex like Hawthorne is so affordable and upscale in this day and age. Do not hesitate to live here. You will not regret it!
