0/10 Stars, HIGHLY DO NOT recommend. I paid $300 to hold a townhome, I later decided would not be a good fit for my family. I was told when I made the payment , that I would receive a refund if I decided not to move in. At the time I made the payment, I used a credit card via their company website. When I requested a refund, I was told they would only be able to mail me a check. The payment was made in January, the refund request was early February. I was told that the check could take up to 45 days to receive. After waiting almost 2 months, I contacted them. They advised the check was mailed just days after I called and I should have already received it by the time I called. I believe it was the billing department I spoke to At that time, and they confirmed the mailing address they had on file was correct . It was. Another check was to be reissued and mailed to my address. At this point I was told it would take at least 3 days for them put a stop payment on the 1st check and then they would send the second check. As of today, Tuesday, May 5th I have yet to receive the second check . When I attempted to find out what was going on , and how else I would be able to get my money back, seeing as mailing it was not working, I could not get anyone on the phone. When you call this complex, you have to go through AI , then be transferred to the leasing or billing offices. I called numerous times last week, left messages to speak with the property manager, and still no call. I get a text Friday, that they need to confirm my address yet again, which I confirmed. I asked for a call again at that point, as texting about a financial matter, didn’t seem appropriate. Still refused. I was told to contact the post office “as it seems I wasn’t getting all my mail”. I have lived at my current address for 8 years and never had the issue before. I asked yet again for a phone call and was told they needed to speak to their accountant. I did not understand the need for that unless they were going to provide my refund in an alternate form. Monday, I receive a text, still no call, saying a new check has been issued and mailed out as of 5/1, the same day we last spoke, yet no mention was made until Monday. No other details for this now THIRD check, and when I attempted to reply, it seems I’ve been blocked . I called again asking for the property manager, and the company’s corporate contact info, still as of today NO CALL. It is despicable at this point . I feel I’ve been robbed of my $ and may never get it back. Not to mention I paid this money in anticipation of moving in, which I am now SOO thankful I did not. The fact that no one would return my calls, the “property manager” never even introduced themselves and said their name, and I still don’t have my money is OUTRAGEOUS. They don’t care about the community and I honestly don’t even know why they have a front office when clearly no one cares to help. I plan to contact Rafael Sanchez to expose this place and it’s shady business practices. I’m sure based on some of these other comments from past/present residents, I’ve got a case worth looking into.
