Lighthouse Landing Experience Good evening. I see all the great reviews about Lighthouse Landing, but unfortunately, I have had the worst experience since moving here in December 2025. I have been dealing with multiple leaks throughout my apartment, and I have reported these issues several times. Unfortunately, it seems like I keep getting excuses instead of permanent solutions. When I first moved in, I was unable to use my bedroom and bathroom for approximately two weeks because of water damage. After reaching out to the regional manager, the issue was finally addressed. I did receive $200 off my January rent, but I honestly feel that does not adequately compensate for everything I have experienced. I want to be clear that I am not blaming Kayla—she has been awesome and has helped when I reached out to her. My frustration is with the lack of consistent maintenance and the ongoing failure to properly resolve these issues. Now it is August, and I am still dealing with problems. My bathroom ceiling is peeling, and my utility closet ceiling is deteriorating to the point where it appears it could fall apart. After experiencing so many leaks since moving in, I am extremely concerned about the possibility of mold or other damage inside the ceilings and walls. I should not have to worry about whether the apartment I pay for every month is safe and comfortable to live in. At this point, I feel that I deserve more than temporary fixes—I need these repairs properly addressed and I believe compensation should be considered for everything I have endured. I have been patient, but this has gone on long enough. If these issues are not properly resolved, my next step will be contacting the city health inspector and the appropriate authorities to have the conditions evaluated. I just want what every paying resident deserves: a safe, clean, comfortable apartment with repairs completed properly and in a timely manner.

I would strongly discourage anyone from renting at Lighthouse Landings. This has been, by far, the worst apartment experience I've ever had. For months, I have dealt with recurring water coming through my bathroom floor. Maintenance has come out multiple times, but the issue has never actually been resolved. Every time I use my bathroom, my feet get wet because water continues to come through the flooring. The floorboards and baseboards have become damaged, and only now are they sending an outside contractor because their previous repair attempts didn't fix the problem. As if that wasn't enough, my ceiling fan light fixture fell from the ceiling and shattered, creating a serious safety hazard. More recently, my dishwasher malfunctioned and sprayed water throughout my kitchen during normal use. I immediately submitted another maintenance request. The most frustrating part is management's response. They repeatedly point to the fact that maintenance "responded" to my work orders while completely ignoring that the issues remain unresolved. There is a big difference between closing a work order and actually fixing the problem. Despite months of recurring maintenance issues, management refused to offer any type of accommodation, whether that be a rent concession or even a reduced lease termination fee. I have reported every issue promptly, followed their procedures, and cooperated with every repair attempt. In return, I've been expected to continue paying full rent while dealing with problems that significantly affected my ability to enjoy my apartment. I have lived in multiple apartment communities over the years and have never experienced this many recurring maintenance problems or such a lack of accountability when those problems weren't resolved. If you're considering living here, I would encourage you to think carefully before signing a lease. UPDATE: Just when I thought things couldn't get worse- they did. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I have dealt with water coming through my floors for MONTHS, each time submitting maintenance requests and their "solution" was sticking a fan in front of it. I finally demanded a contractor come look at it, and they removed my toilet for over a day with NO NOTICE. I had nowhere to stay and they refused to give me any concessions for my troubles, AFTER TELLING ME THEY WOULD. Maintenance even used my own towels to clean up nasty water. Absolutely ridiculous.

I lived at LHL for 6 months this year. I have pretty much no significant complaints about living here. We had a few maintenance issues that were fixed quickly. Our 2B/1B apartment was $1287/mo for the 13mo lease option. We opted to break ours which comes with a 2month rent fee. The “waterfront” apartment was worth it and the balconies are pretty nice. The staff is always super friendly and attentive. Kathy specifically is great. Proximity to i65 is a huge plus. Noise from the interstate is basically zero. The unit we got also had brand new renovations/appliances that had never been touched. The hallways always smell like weed and the location (other than the Kroger right there) isn’t great. There is a ton of industrial zoning between the complex and Indy which sucks to drive through. There was also a super yappy dog who lived underneath us who barked truly 24/7. I’d live here again if I had to!
