  My experience. I called 911 15 seconds after my fairly expensive Mountain Bike was stolen on 7/1/26. My transport to & from work. A local police officer PLEDGED he would hand the report to the Indianapolis Downtown Investigation TEAM. THE MAN who STOLE my bike lives in 312 I believe. I'm scared I might get shot, it is Indianapolis, he WAS a very, weird person. Stay safe in this area. The couple WITH A BABY live above him. Get this man JUSTICE.

  I’ve lived in two apartments in this complex When I first paid my deposit for the first apartment, the property manager (Shawn)told me over the phone I would only owe $500 more when I came in to get the keys. When I came in, she changed it to $1,200, which is insane.(sister also heard 500$) When I was reading the paper about bugs, she kept saying “just sign it” and “it’s just saying you see no bugs.” Before I even looked in the apartment. And for the second apartment, it had ants and spiders that I had to get rid of. Mind you, this popped up days after move-in — which makes sense why she rushes you to sign Now for my first apartment, it was not fully clean The dish washer was dirty — she wiped it off with her hand and said “idk why they didn’t clean this.” Next, a maintenance man tried to walk into our apartment with no notice at all. When I called to report it, she said it’s “not that deep,” when it is. She also sends out emails that are clearly directed at you, but pretends they’re not. Oh and the worst part: the day we were switching apartments she said (and I quote) “I know that’s you and your sister constantly arguing and being loud.” A neighbor lied and said it was our apartment WHICH WAS FALSE. It was our next neighbor — which we also heard all the time . She didn’t ask us anything, she just accused us, then got offended that we were offended.. I was then asked by management to identify and report that neighbor. I made it clear that I was not comfortable doing so and that it was not my responsibility to monitor or report other tenants. (Also the walls are paper thin but I never complained because I know the walls thin and it doesn’t bother me) Now for the second apartment: we toured a unit, she showed us the apartment and said we were getting that one. I signed the lease. The day of move-in, she gave us an entirely different apartment. Then she acted confused and annoyed that we called her out and said all the apartments are the same. They are not. On top of that, she kept trying to get me to sign papers saying “oh you already walked through the apartment” just for me to get the keys — and THAT WAS NOT THE APARTMENT WE WALKED THROUGH, but I already signed the lease so it was nothing we could do. Then I’m reading my lease and she tried to charge us $159 more a month than the agreed price. Also, when I was getting my deposit back from the first apartment, they gave me a fraud check that made me lose my bank account that I had for five years. And then with my second apartment I had an issue with the police trying to break into my home and harassing us because of neighbors — they had the wrong apartment. The washer and dryer also never work, so don’t waste your money using it. She will accuse you of things that you didn’t do then when she realizes she was wrong she wants you to get over it but if you call her out for her mistakes she has a attitude made us very uncomfortable. Oh, and don’t call if you have a problem — email, email, email. I called with issues or went into the office — DON’T DO THAT. Keep a paper trail. What made this experience especially frustrating is that my sister and I were quiet, low-maintenance tenants. We paid rent on time, rarely contacted maintenance, and kept to ourselves. Despite this, we were singled out, accused without investigation, and treated unfairly from the start.

  Mudarse a una nueva ciudad puede ser un desafío . Dicen que lo que estás buscando, también te está buscando a ti . En este proceso encontré a Avia Lofts y a Shawn Gilbert la administradora de esta propiedad . Ella tiene una energía preciosa , es muy profesional , amable , y su paciencia es increible . Ella y su personal (Melbin ) me han ayudado , haciendo que la mudanza fuera fácil y rápido . El Complejo es hermoso , los electrodomésticos son nuevos , los apartamentos están bien mantenidos y cuidados . Las areas verdes son hermosas , Hay piscina , gym , buzones de Amazon . Si quieres tomar un café puedes ir a la oficina y de paso saludar a Shawn que te responderá con su linda sonrisa . Lo recomiendo . Gracias .
