  DO NOT rent from Polo Run if tenant safety and privacy are important to you. While I was on vacation and authorized bathroom work was being done, someone entered my bedroom without permission. My bed was dirty, smelled like cologne, covers had been moved, and multiple drawers, including my underwear drawer, appeared to have been rummaged through. I filed a police report and provided photos. Management refused to investigate, told me they trusted their employees, and withheld information about who accessed my apartment. I later learned groundsmen were given access to occupied units, including mine. One repeatedly asked for my phone number and even entered my name into a raffle without my permission. A maintenance employee also brought his girlfriend into my apartment while working. When I reported that the SmartRent lock system failed to log all entries, management told me to deal with SmartRent myself. The app barely worked. A family heirloom ring also disappeared after maintenance had been in my apartment. When I tried escalating concerns, corporate initially claimed they couldn't provide higher-up contact information. After I found the names myself, they suddenly provided it. The higher-ups then ignored my complaints. Shortly after repeatedly raising safety concerns, my lease was not renewed. Other issues included cigarette smoke constantly entering my unit during pregnancy, poor maintenance work, attempted break-ins of my vehicle, being followed on the property at night, multiple fires during my time there, and management ignoring requests for better lighting and security. Also, I was directly told by an employee that staff had entered a deceased tenant's unit before and taken items they wanted before the tenant's children were able to collect their belongings. After years of living there, my experience was that management consistently dismissed serious safety concerns rather than addressing them and you get punished for advocating for yourself. Also, when you leave, they charge you a ridiculous amount of money and keep your entire security deposit on top of that. This isn't even the half of it, Google Maps just won't allow that long of a review to list everything.

  Solid apartments for the price. I wish I would’ve initially did a better inspection before moving in because there was some cracks and other problems but most were fixed quickly.the maintenance is great and is very quick to service. I wish the rims were better on the basketball court. It wouldn’t be very difficult to fix and the weather is nice now.

  While I did not choose to move into Polo run Apartments June 2026, the staff I spoke to; I believe her name was Angel, was extremely nice. I had many questions and she answered every one. My friends were concerned about the apartments though due to crime.
