This place advertises as “pet friendly,” and they do allow you to have pets. However the complex itself is not conducive to having a dog. No sidewalks, so you have to walk in the grass where they have TONS of bees. My dog was stung twice last summer and once so far this summer. There is food trash everywhere so I’m constantly having to pull my dog away or get stuff out of his mouth. I have seen maintenance workers trying to pick up some trash but the amount is just unrealistic for them to get all of it. Not sure if signs posting a fine for littering would help or what. There are only three dog poop bag stations and they’re all pretty close together in the middle of the complex so the buildings on the outskirts have hella poop on the ground because owners aren’t motivated to walk so far to get bags. My neighbor didn’t even know these stations existed because she has mobility issues and isn't able to walk that far. I do really like the community though. Lots of friendly people and kids playing outside all the time which I like. Haven’t had any issues of maintenance workers entering my apartment without notice, which should be a given, but I know is an issue with lots of places.

If i could rate lower I would. What a damn joke When we first got a tour of a unit it was beautiful and the staff was nice and helpful of course to get you in the door. The day I got the keys to my "renovated" unit walked in to immediate issues. The kitchen counters were sticky with some orange goo substance, the floor throughout the unit was cut up from what looked like knives, the back bedrooms had no air flow from the vents, your hands turned black when you touched the cabinets in the kitchen and the bathrooms, there was human hair in the sinks, the freezer had cracks in it like they dropped it while moving it. The list goes on including mold in the bathroom with stand up shower cause they didnt install it correctly and when I did my move in checklist I gave them a full page paper of issues wrong with the unit. In the winter it gets so cold even with plastic on the windows we had to use heaters in the back rooms because again the air flow sucks. When I talked to other units they said yeah thats a thing we just crank the heat to 80 and the apartment stays warms.... you shouldn't have to do that! The heat should work at 68 like a damn house. The power would randomly go out in our unit for no reason. My buidling in 113 had a huge known rat issues, the plumbing was so awful the hallway flooded 3 times in the year I lived there, any time I had a maintenance issue the maintenance would "come fix it" and 4 more calls later id maybe get it fixed but not really. I could only use 2 burners on my stove the others either didnt get hot or even on the lowest setting would randomly get the hottest it could and immediately burn anything your cooking. The flooring peeled up in all the apartment in the winter cause they didnt install it right and then we would have ants coming up from the peeling floor. The kitchen sink took 8 minutes for the water to even get warm 10 to get hot. The buidling to the left of us had bed bugs. My upstairs neighbors smoked and not just cigarettes on their balcony nonstop so I could never just have my door open for fresh air and they through their trash on my patio. They also loved to sit on my table and let their baby play on my patio and touch my things. People would leave their smelly laudnry in the washer and dryer for a week at a time. And on move out inspection and since moving out the staff are so rude now its unreal. This place used to be wonderful it was my 3rd time living there since 2007 and I will never be back. The pool constantly closed because people would put regular diapers on their kids and poop would just regularly get in the pool. The "guest" parking was always full of the same damn cars so people living in units not on the lease without a parking pass so your guest could never park there they would have to park far far away or get their car towed. Not to mention the violence and police being there all the time, and then a classmate of mine getting shot and killed on the job reporting to a domestic violence call that they had come out for that unit multiple times. If you have young kids I dont recommend living here at all. Its a joke and not safe, for health reasons due to mold, rats and bugs, and just safe in general with how many police calls that are called in to those apartments. Will NEVER liver here again and if anyone i know asks about them I'll say hell no. You know its bad when an entire building moves out at the same damn time and we all didnt move in at the same time. Save yourself the misery, money and grief from living there. I could tell you horror stories from living them for more than an hour and it wouldn't be enough. It was a fight to get the simplest things fixed there and then they half assed gave solutions.
