- DSDiedra ShortySep 17, 20261.0No complaints about my home but beware the pricing. If you have to build in this community then I would advise thinking carefully about every add-on. Our house ended up appraising for a full 17k below what Pulte quoted. The contract warns this could happen and that it's on you, the buyer, if it does but the sales team will try to convince you that they've never seen that happen. OR that if they had it was never too bad and that management will usually try to offer assistance in the form of additional cash at closing...something ya know. Well after being thoroughly surprised by the 17k difference from appraisal, Pulte's tone changed. Suddenly this is what happens when you get a bad appraiser but still they ( the sales team) insisted there would be something they could do. Well after a month of chasing people down, a declined request for reappraisal that our sales associate was MIA for the entire process of, and hearing that management is pushing the "responsibility of the buyer" line...we've come to accept that this is just our lot. Fine. I love my house. Honestly these things happen but it would have been great for ANYONE during all of this to just take the time to talk with us... Not promise things that would never happen or say they'd "have answers by Monday" but actually talk with us. Management refused to communicate outside of the sales team and they (sales team) wouldn't say anything except they would have updates soon (never) or they are checking with management. Like shit happens but acknowledge that this sucks and that you aren't willing to do anything about it. Customer service 3/10 ( the 3 here is fully for the construction team and manager). 10/10 would not build with Pulte again for all the above mentioned and their horrible mortgage team.
