  I had a very bad experience with Wheeling One Apartments and I would strongly advise others to be careful. This place feels extremely dishonest when it comes to charges. After moving out, I was hit with excessive and questionable fees that were never clearly explained upfront. It honestly feels like they are taking advantage of tenants and overcharging wherever possible. Communication is another major issue. They always say “yes, we’ll take care of it” when you speak to them in person, but nothing actually gets resolved. It’s all talk and no action. When you try to follow up or get real answers, they become difficult to reach or simply avoid the conversation. What’s even more frustrating is their response to reviews. They publicly reply asking you to contact them, but when you do, they don’t follow through or make any effort to fix the situation. It gives the impression that they care more about appearances than actually helping residents. Overall, this has been a very disappointing and stressful experience. I would not recommend living here unless you are prepared to deal with poor communication and unexpected charges.

  I think it’s a good apartment. I hope to move there in 2027 after my graduation. I don’t drive a car and need a place really close to the Metra. And also hope to have a partner with me too.
