Have been waiting for a maintenance solution for weeks. All I see is a paper notice on my door regarding what needs to be done, but no one stepped in and fixed.

I moved away from here a while ago, but I had a very negative experience overall. The staff was very rude. I also often really struggled to even reach the staff. The moving out process was very difficult for me, in part due to these things. Also, the associated Internet service was unbelievably bad and felt archaic. It was incredibly difficult to work from home, and the service would too frequently go out and at important times for me. Perhaps these things have improved since I've left, but I would not recommend living here to anyone. I think there are far better places to live in Peoria, especially for those working in the healthcare industry.

I’m disappointed with the way Prairie Lakes has handled an unresolved maintenance issue. I submitted a request on July 22 because my dishwasher stopped working. As of August 12, it still has not been repaired. After waiting nearly three weeks, I emailed management directly to escalate the issue. I acknowledged that a dishwasher is not an emergency, but asked for a reasonable repair timeframe, suggested outsourcing the repair if maintenance is unable to get to it, and asked management to consider compensation since my lease ends September 7 and I’ve been without an appliance included with my apartment for a significant portion of my remaining lease. Unfortunately, I received no response to my escalation email either. The most frustrating part is the lack of communication. I don’t expect every maintenance request to be handled immediately, but I do expect an issue that has been open for weeks to be addressed—or at minimum, for management to respond and provide a plan for resolution. I’m posting this review in hopes that someone from Prairie Lakes or Edward Rose & Sons will address the issue before my lease ends. I’m happy to update my review if and when this is resolved. UPDATE 8/18: My dishwasher has now been repaired, and I also received a call from Edward Rose & Sons corporate today to follow up and confirm that the issue had been resolved. I appreciate corporate reaching out and the repair finally being completed. I am updating my review to reflect their response. My concern remains that the original request was submitted on 7/22 and went unresolved for several weeks despite my attempts to escalate it. I’m glad the issue was ultimately addressed and appreciate the follow-up from corporate.

Mrs. Lisa at Prairie Lakes Office always has been very helpful and efficient when I come and have a request or need help with anything. Excellent work service. When I place a work order, the people that works in the maintenance department are very efficient and great. Prairie Lakes has been always excellent and have a great support staff.

The move in process was very difficult. We couldn’t move in until the evening and They moved our time back an hour right before we were supposed to come. They required everyone on the lease to be present at the time of getting keys with no prior knowledge of this. I work an hour away and had to race over in order for my boyfriend who is also on the lease to move in. Two different addresses were provided to us so when we went to set up utilities it was difficult because we were using the wrong address. We got a router and modem from them for their internet. We couldn’t get it to work so we had to go with another internet provider. They would not take back the stuff we bought eventhough it was un opened so were out almost 200$.
