  I’ve had a really good experience at Avant at the Arboretum. Jeet and Sam are both great and always helpful when I need anything. The apartments are nice, clean, and have good space. The complex is also well kept and has nice amenities. I really like living here and would definitely recommend Avant to anyone looking for a good place to live.

  Highly recommend Avant! I've lived here for 2.5 years. The neighbors are mostly young professionals, the amenities are great, and management is always quick to respond to any concerns. Best of all, I love that they use fresh flowers instead of faux ones around the property. Exceptional community for anyone looking to move!

  First, I'll say the apartments are nice looking and spacious. Office staff are responsive and timely. Maintenance is excellent. Parking garage is a nice perk, especially in Winter. However, I've experienced so many issues recently that make me want to leave, but their buyout amount is at least 3x the rent amount (you read that correctly) so I'm very much stuck here and I'm extremely unhappy about that. Just in the last few months: traffic has drastically increased, so it feels like we live on a drag strip. People constantly race around here and honk excessivley, all hours of the day and night. It is VERY loud. Carpenter ants have taken over my apartment more than once and continue to be an issue. Wasps are also a serious issue, so the balcony is totally off limits during the height of summer. They've been obsessed with our side of the building for some reason and they refuse to leave it alone. Then we have pet owners who (no joke) allowed their dog to relieve themselves in the common hallway, this has happened more than once. Also, one of them got sick and I nearly stepped in it. But wait, there's more. The public restrooms for those of us who use the pool or gym are closed when the office is not open. Yes, you read that correctly. The office is closed on Sundays, so if you're going to the pool or the gym, no bathroom for you. Get up early for the gym? Too bad. Go all the way back to your apartment to use your own bathroom. We received notice that someone allegedly relieved themselves on the floor (not a dog - but a human) and also smeared it on the walls more than once. Legit question - what kind of disgusting people live here? One of my neighbors is very messy and constantly has food (!!) out on her balcony unattended, wet towels draped over the balcony sides, wet bathing suits just hanging out there. It's gross and unsightly. My key fob randomly didn't work one day and the office wasn't open, that was a lot of fun. The package room is a complete disaster at all times and I've had several packages go randomly missing when this was never an issue anywhere else. The washer and dryer are terribly outdated and beep completely at random, for no reason at all, even when they're not running. We are paying upwards of $2400+++ for rent and utilities, parking, inflated valet trash pricing compared to most, common area maintenance cost, pest control fee, etc. to deal with this? The final straw happened when I was jarred awake at 1am, by the fire alarm. I've experienced false fire alarms at other apartments, they're deafening. Fine. But - the strobe lights that light up the entire bedroom, living room AND bathroom are ridiculous and highly unnecessary! Do not tell me it's "for our safety" because giving me a heart attack at 1am and practically blinding me when I'm trying to sleep on a work night is highly unsafe - and we have not received a sniff of acknowledgement of why this occurred. I would very strongly advise you to consider all of your options and do your own research before agreeing to move here. A guy I spoke to in the elevator said the management has changed every year for the last 10+ years. What a mess. You've been fairly warned!

  They are not transparent about their credit check requirements, and their standards seem extremely high. They also charge a $300 non-refundable administration fee, which was disappointing. We felt pressured and rushed into making a decision and applying, which did not sit right with us. On top of that, the staff came across as rude, making communication difficult and unpleasant.

  I’ve had a great experience living at this apartment complex. Sam is incredibly helpful, friendly, and always quick to respond whenever I have a question. Any issues or maintenance requests are handled promptly, which really makes daily living stress-free. It’s clear they genuinely care about the residents, and that makes a big difference. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a well-managed community.
