  I am so pleased with Ryan Carney with Carney Homes! I was in a difficult situation and he really helped us out. My ex and I were splitting up and needed to make a decision whether to sell the home we jointly owned or let my ex buy me out. We consulted Ryan for advice. Ryan was extremely thorough when examining the Home. He was fair about pointing out any flaws with the home and how they could affect the overall value. When helping us come to a decision as to what would be a fair listing price on the home, he really did his research! He had over 20 comparable homes in the area that had recently sold for us to review and help make a decision. In the end, it was decided that although the home may have been worth a lot on paper, it was not worth as much in reality to sell on the market. The decision was made not to sell. Ryan could have taken advantage of the situation and had us list the house for what it was worth on paper just to make a sale to benefit himself but not necessarily us. He did not personally benefit from us despite being extremely diligent and dedicated in helping us figure out our situation. I am definitely going to use him for help buying my future home. I am extremely impressed by his heart, his knowledge of the real estate industry, his knowledge of the DeKalb area, and his integrity and professionalism. I can't say enough about how pleased I am with the services he's provided.

Even though his wife, Karonica, wasn’t front and center with us during that time, you could still feel that strong partnership behind the scenes.   We have used Ryan selling a Townhome and Purchasing a Single Family Home.Ryan handled this to perfection.We had Townhome sold and Single family purchased within a two week time frame. Ryan made this look so easy. I would most definitely recommend Ryan and yes I most definitely use again Kevin Walsh

  We are so grateful for the experience we had with Ryan Carney as our realtor. This past summer (2022), we stumbled upon a home that we soon realized had the potential to be our dream, forever home. We messaged Ryan about it and he was quick to lead us through the process of turning that dream into our reality. He even put in the time to come out to see the house right away to evaluate its value. In writing an offer, his expertise helped our bid to stand out above the others in a competitive market. He was also a great resource for putting us in contact with an outstanding mortgage broker, attorney, and home inspector. When it came time to prepare for listing our townhouse, Ryan’s excellent knowledge of the market helped tremendously in a receiving multiple offers in a short amount of time. This happened despite rising interest rates and the shift away from a seller’s market. Ryan was a keen eye in advising us every step of the way in getting the home ready and staged for listing photos and showings. We appreciated his ability to market across multiple platforms and host a very successful open house. We highly recommend Ryan as a realtor. Whenever we had any questions, he always took great care in educating us and putting our minds at ease. Ryan took genuine interest in our well-being through the entire process and we are thankful to now call him a friend.
