Front Desk has gone down hill with every new hire. One girl in partilcular will just be watching videos on her phone while it's plugged into the wall, ignoring you while you struggle to handle multiple gorcery bags outside and open the door yourself. The same girl is poorly training the new hires while she's on her phone. I get it's boring sitting at a desk all day, but don't be an unfriendly body and refuse to acknowledge people like humans. Super unfriendly and unwelcoming, just awful experience these days. Makes coming home to the bryn just a sour experience. Cleaning staff and other faculty are very friendly though. Miss the old front desk young man.

I have lived at The Bryn for over 4 years now. I must say all of the people that keep this place running are incredible and extremely friendly. They make the place feel like a home. Adriana in the office is quick to respond and always very helpful. Maintenance requests are handled efficiently and Alvaro is unbelievable. I think that guy can fix just about anything in no time. And Fabi that keeps this place shining is always smiling and quick to react to any problem. Everyone on the front door staff is all incredibly helpful and friendly as well. Special shout out to Jeremiah! Good sized apartments, the amenities are great, views are great, and I think that Edgewater is one of the best neighborhoods in Chicago. We have everything you need within walking distance and easy access to everywhere in the city via Lake Shore Drive, Red Line, buses, and the Lake Front Trail. So what's the catch? Well yes, it's a little pricy, but you get what you pay for I guess. I would highly recommend checking this place out if your are considering a move in Chicago. You'll be happy you did!

Welcome to the Bryn where you can find: elevators out of service (it’s a really good workout), no parking available even though they collect payment for monthly (promised) parking, mice in the pipes (yes) the 20th floor too, the package room being pillaged with all packages stolen (TWICE), and an abhorrently passive aggressive property manager named Shawn. Coming from someone who has seen how living here affects your mental health and sense of safety, please save yourself the trauma and rent elsewhere.

Arrogant and condescending management. Very slow to make repairs that they feel aren’t important. Going out of their way to punish for making a complaint. Nasty attitude, can’t wait to get out.
