  As a Leasing Consultant with Urban Abodes, I tour apartment communities throughout Chicago on a daily basis, and Somerset Place Apartments is one of the properties I recommend most confidently. The first thing that stands out is Ruth. She is everything you hope for in a Property Manager: professional, responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to providing residents with an exceptional living experience. It is immediately clear that she takes tremendous pride in both the property and the people who call it home. Somerset Place offers an outstanding combination of value, comfort, and amenities. The building features a beautiful lobby, a well-equipped fitness center, convenient laundry facilities on every floor, and an incredible sundeck with stunning city and lake views. The apartments themselves are spacious, well-maintained, and far exceed what many people expect at this price point. What truly separates Somerset Place from many other apartment communities is the quality of construction. In an era where many buildings suffer from thin walls and constant noise, Somerset Place provides a remarkably quiet and comfortable living environment. You don’t hear your neighbors through the walls, and you don’t deal with food odors traveling between apartments. That level of privacy and peace is incredibly rare and contributes tremendously to the overall quality of life here. Perhaps most impressive is the value. Just a few train stops away, residents would easily pay 30% more for a similar apartment and amenity package. Somerset Place consistently delivers more than expected while maintaining a welcoming, professionally managed atmosphere. I’ve toured thousands of apartments across Chicago, and Somerset Place remains one of the best overall values I’ve encountered. The building is beautiful, the amenities are excellent, the construction quality is second to none, and the resident experience is exceptional. Much of that is a direct reflection of Ruth’s leadership, dedication, and professionalism. Somerset Place is fortunate to have her, and residents are fortunate to call this community home.

  Here to share how much I enjoyed living at Somerset apartments over the last four years. Although I have recently moved out of the Uptown area, I wanted to express my appreciation for the building and my neighbors. I also want to specifically thank Ruth for all her help as the property manager. She always ensured that I received my packages, kept me informed with building updates, and made me feel truly valued as a resident. I highly recommend this "Uptown Gem" to anyone looking for a great place to live. I did the 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom and had a parking spot. Win win

  They twice ignored at all our scheduled tour, when we are coming and waiting more than 40 minutes an agent. So it’s the worst and useless management practices and I didn’t understand how they make a business like that. Don’t waste your time for that fancy website but absolutely unprofessional team, who didn’t help you with the easiest things like an apartment tour out just entrance to the building.

  I’ve lived at Somerset for 2 years and can confidently say it’s the best place I’ve ever called home! Exceptional management team, responsive, friendly and proactive. Well-maintained buildings and grounds. Spacious and modern apartments. Management is always on the best disposition to help out through any problem.
