  I recently moved into Presidential Towers and have had a positive experience so far. As with any large residential community, a few mechanical issues have come up, which is understandable in a building that houses so many residents. What stands out is the commitment of the staff and support team, who are available around the clock to receive concerns and ensure repairs are handled promptly. It is reassuring to know that help is always within reach. I would like to extend special appreciation to Fadi, Head of Security. He is a dependable and highly professional presence who makes daily life feel comfortable and effortless. Beyond his professionalism, he is genuinely kind and caring, which makes residents feel truly valued. Overall, I would gladly recommend Presidential Towers to anyone seeking responsive staff and a welcoming community.

  Genuinely don’t live here, awful management, washers never work so you have to go to a different tower to try and find one, elevators are always down, and I’m all for community but the amount of inconsiderate people in the common areas is insane. It’s cheap for downtown if you find a good deal but there’s a reason for that. Plus if you renew your lease they’ll up the price by 20%. Listen to the reviews. I didn’t and regret it every day.

  I lived in Tower 4 for 13 months, and my experience with the tower manager was extremely disappointing. After we moved out, she added a $750 charge to my account for what appears to be a small stain, claiming it as significant countertop damage. The charge is excessive and unreasonable. What makes this even more concerning is that they are not allowing me to visit the apartment and inspect the alleged damage myself, nor have they provided any dated photographs showing the condition of the countertop at move-out. Without allowing an inspection or providing dated evidence, there is no reasonable way for me to verify that the alleged damage still exists or justified a $750 charge.

  My family and I have known Fadi for the past two years, and he has consistently gone above and beyond in his role. He is not only a dedicated security officer but also someone who genuinely cares about the residents he serves. What stands out most is how warm and welcoming he is. He always greets our child whenever he sees us in the lobby, which makes a lasting impression and creates a friendly, family-oriented atmosphere. His kindness and positive attitude make everyone feel comfortable and valued. Fadi is also incredibly helpful and responsive. Whether it's assisting with maintenance-related concerns or helping with other issues around the property, he is always willing to step in and ensure things are handled quickly and efficiently.

  I moved into Presidential Towers on 9/15. By 9/17, my bathroom was unusable: the sink and shower produce only scalding hot water. I can't bathe or wash in my own apartment. What was worse than the plumbing was how management handled it. When I went to the resident services office to ask for help, the manager on duty declined to speak with me and had the receptionist tell me the only thing I could do was wait, at my own cost. When I asked a leasing specialist about my rights if the apartment isn't livable, I was told he wasn't aware of any such policy. That's not accurate — Chicago's tenant ordinance treats plumbing and hot water as essential services, and the summary of those rights is attached to the lease Waterton itself gives you. Maintenance has come twice. The first repair failed the next day. The second lasted about six hours. I've since been told the cause may require inspecting the plumbing floor by floor through the building. No completion date has been given. To be fair, a technician did come quickly once I put everything in writing. But residents shouldn't have to cite the city code to get a straight answer, and they shouldn't be told to absorb the cost of an apartment they can't use. If you're considering renting here: document everything in writing from day one, and know your rights under the Chicago RLTO before you sign. run from this place
