  I had a wonderful experience dealing with Gwendolyn of Associa Chicagoland today regarding a tax appeal charge on an account. Gwendolyn fully understood the problem, efficiently assigned a case number for the issue and indicated I would receive a response within 48 business hours. Her caring manner increased my confidence in getting a timely resolution. She is an asset to Associa Chicagoland.

  this place does not help with any issues at all. there is a serious concern for safety in one of their buildings with multiple fire doors, not closing entirely and they have not resolved this issue in over two weeks. I am not able to contact any of the building managers, president or vice president to get a phone call to communicate with them. The only line they have is customer service representatives who say they can open a ticket but cannot give you a direct phone number to anyone. when they’ve opened a ticket I’ve never gotten a phone call back from anyone. If you are considering using this company as your association managers, don’t.

  They're the worst. Entitled, inflexible, rude... No leniency on any rules (charged a hundred dollars for carrying out a small kitty litter box because they considered it 'furniture' and therefore I needed to either put it on a cart or reserve the service elevator... charged a hundred dollars for a guest not wearing a shirt after we returned from a run, was told to refer to the rules and regs, which said nothing other than try not to offend anyone, etc.) and when they make a mistake (issuing parking tickets incorrectly) there is zero apology. Giving very short notice to remove all furniture off balconies to do construction, AND keep the communal deck and pool closed, in JULY (why schedule this during summer?!) Slow to respond and super snarky when they do. It's crazy to me how they behave and handle things when we pay so much to live in the building. I love the location and the front gate staff are lovely, but the building management is so infuriating that it makes me want to move.

  Lauren Ramiro, the Community Association Manager for my condo Building, 222 East Pearson is not only rude and has no customer service skills but takes days and several email follow ups for her to attend the needs of her residents. She does not represent An Associa Company in the way you have treated us before her arrival. If I was on the board I would demand her replacement or a new company that can provide the right talent to look after residents with grace and care.
