If I could give 0 stars, I would. The units are beautiful, there's great access to the walking path around the lake, and it's a family-friendly community. Unfortunately, the management experience completely overshadowed those positives. If you're looking for a place where maintenance requests go unresolved for over six months, this is it. Our fireplace broke in December, and despite countless emails and follow-ups, it was never repaired before we moved out in June. We were repeatedly told they were "working with their outside contractor" and that it would be fixed by the end of January. No one ever came, and we never received any meaningful updates. The fireplace was one of the reasons we chose this apartment, and it remained unusable for over half of our lease. That wasn't the only issue. We received a notice threatening fines and even lease termination because management assumed we had an unauthorized pet, even though we never had one. We dealt with carpenter ants in the floors and walls, random water shutoffs without notice, and our kitchen/utility room flooded overnight. The emergency maintenance number listed in the resident app was incorrect, so it took far longer than it should have to reach anyone, and once we finally did, we waited about 16 hours for someone to come out. To make matters worse, my mom's car was towed while visiting from six hours away after she accidentally parked in a resident space. We asked the leasing office if they could contact the towing company to see if the fee could be waived given the circumstances. They told us they did and that the towing company refused. However, when we went to pick up the car, the towing company told us they had absolutely no record of any communication from the apartment complex. We ended up paying $250 to get the car back. I previously rented in downtown Chicago in a building with nearly 600 units, and the management and maintenance staff there were far more responsive and organized than they were here. The move-out process was the final disappointment. We received no move out instructions and management kept our entire security deposit and charged us an additional $95, which after explanation, was fine but i received no email or notice explaining the charges. I only discovered them after checking the resident portal a month after moving out. When I contacted the office, they claimed the disposition letter had been posted to our portal, but it never was. They only sent it to me now, a month later. We were excellent tenants who never paid rent late. Despite that, communication throughout our tenancy was consistently poor. The office felt disorganized from start to finish. The only positive experience we had was with Amisa, who was always kind and courteous. Unfortunately, one helpful employee can't make up for the overall experience. The apartments may look nice, but based on our experience, the ongoing maintenance issues, lack of communication, and poor management make this community impossible for me to recommend.

We recently moved out after living here for four years. During our time, the stand out part of our experience was Amisa, the leasing agent. She was always professional but genuine. Whenever we had questions or needed assistance, she was responsive and helpful. She has also been the person who has been there the longest under Karina's supervision. Unfortunately, our experience with management (Karina) was much different. There were several occasions when the manager was late for work and scheduled appointments. This happened often but was never apparently addressed by upper management or the owners. There were times when commitments were made and not followed through. During this past year we had several concerns about safety around the property and those concerns by the manager fell short or were not addressed with urgency. In addition, there was a significant amount of turnover among the maintenance staff during our four years we lived there, which seemed to affect consistency in service and repairs. We are grateful for the kindness and professionalism of the leasing agent (Amisa) but we hope the owners will work to improve the the management.
