Scheduled a tour for 1pm today, showed up early. 2 people outside, one being Amazon, their doors were locked. Okay, I’m early. I waited until 1:05 and doors were still locked. I called twice, no option to even leave a message. I went to Walmart to shop and wait for them to at least answer the phone. Called one more time around 1:30pm and no answer. Would’ve loved to tour but after this experience not anymore

STAY FAR AWAY!
Seems real nice at first, but serious issues will come.
When you move in, take pictures of EVERYTHING, even your tub, sinks, things you don’t even think you need a picture of cause they will charge you at move out!
Don’t trust them to write those things down for you.
Always watch your rent bill. As that is ALWAYS messed up. Oh, and they charge you to park your car and for amenities that never work. They also charge you $25 dollars to put a piece of paper on your door. Talk about scammers!
Then when you move out, and they charge you outrageous prices for things not even damaged… they give you the run around on who to talk to. And Avenue 5 is just as bad. They tell you to just pay the costs as they do no disputes on charges until after your bill is sent to collections.
Save your time, save your money, AND STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM SELWAY AS YOU CAN!

Horrible place to live. It’s got mold/mice/crime and horrible people working at the leasing office. Lived there for 8 or 9 years and they wouldn’t let children play outside without threatening that it’s a violation of lease. This apartment complex almost ruined my mental health so I’m glad I’ll never live there again. As proof here is a picture inside the pool that only residents can get into. There’s a whole thread on this apartment complex on local Facebook groups so just do your research before you go here.

DO NOT RENT HERE. TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT. I got approved to move out with no penalty and when I communicated many times I was out of the apartment they told me nothing else was needed. Weeks later I was told they never knew I was moving out and charging me for still! Instead of apologizing and fixing the situation they told me I was responsible for their negligence financially.
Having my lawyer contact them.
YEARS OF PROBLEMS HERE! Management has always messed things up and residents pay the price and they are rude with how they treat people. Heard this from ALL MY neighbors too!
And they don’t keep up on the property- it’s always gross and falling apart!

Three separate management companies and each set up their own portals to pay rent which was super annoying. Parking is often an issue with random cars being parked in my assigned spot. Schedules inspections in a two hour gap and then proceeds to arrive 5 minutes after the end of the gap (the inspections themselves are relatively painless). Also maintenance is always professional when addressing issues that pop up. Also they randomly shut off my water today for some reason without any communication. No idea what that's about. The office people are always polite and courteous. Overall I'd say this probably a pretty typical apartment complex. If it was issue at your old place it'll probably be an issue here, but it's a fairly decent place to live. Be aware though the walls and floors are fairly thin. If you have an irregular sleep schedule (I work overnight shifts) you will likely need to get used to sleeping through the noise (nothing major kids running around and conversations if you grew up with siblings you should be fine). Also, because of this you need to be aware of the times you are doing things that might cause disturbances. I think that's everything. Mid tier apartments.
