  This is our first time living in an apartment complex and I can say it has been an amazing experience! They have made life so incredibly easy and I love everyone in the leasing office! Highly recommend if it is your first home or last!

  Honest review of the 1 bedroom apartment we live in for $1444 a month. This may be a little long, but I hope it will give an accurate picture. PROS: * The staff truly is amazing. All the ladies that work here are very nice and helpful. * Clubhouse/pool are great. The pool is heated, and I think maybe salt water as we don't smell any chlorine. Inside they have a weight room and secured mail room. I wish they had a pool or shuffle board table. * The lighting in the apartments is fabulous, one of my favorite features. * Separate utility room. With the Floorplan I have A1, the utility room is by the entrance and allows a little extra storage. * Heavy front and patio door. Both are really great quality and help keep sound out. * Great location, close to a variety of restaurants and grocery stores. * A nice, long pond with 3 fountains. We love looking at those. CONS: * Amana appliances, and not the kind your mother grew up with. Amana is bottom of the barrel in the Whirlpool line. Cheap, cheap. The dishwasher has plastic interior. The fridge doesn't have an ice maker. For what is being paid in rent, I expect better. * Can hear the neighbors above you. That's typical with most apartment complexes though. It would be great if they spent extra money on flooring/sound proofing, that would be worth the full rent amount. * Right behind Waukee football field. That's great if you love sports. What's not great is the loud music with bass they now play almost nightly, or band practice. Do not like the loud speaker system. * Nothing is included in rent. You pay water/sewer, trash (they force valet trash service), internet at $65 a month that is not optional, also forced. They charge you $6.25 to bill you for water and sewer. $3.25 monthly pest fee, electric - billed by MidAmerican. * Dog park has rocks, not grass AND a sprinker system. Maybe that's to wash off the poo, idk. * Trash receptacles are not close. Overall, the apartments are not worth $1444 a month. For what you get, or don't get I should say. There was a rent special when we moved in, and that's why we moved here and for all the positives listed. The negatives are things I saw after moving in. If you can get the rent special, this is a solid place to live, but I'd look elsewhere if having to pay the full price.

  I recently moved in at NW Converge, and i can say i absolutely love my apartment. It is a very peaceful community, and very welcoming. I also can say property managers are very helpful and kind, i absolutely recommend to live here !
