I would not recommend living here. Before signing a lease, read the negative reviews carefully because many of them mention unexpected move-out charges, and unfortunately, I had the same experience.
When I reached out to corporate for help, my concerns were ignored. There were mistakes on my ledger that I repeatedly brought to management's attention, but instead of correcting them, I received excuses and no resolution.
Another issue is the poor ventilation in these buildings. The air circulation is not good, which can affect the overall comfort of living there.
Based on my experience, if you have other options, I would recommend looking elsewhere. I expected better customer service and accountability.

EDIT 2/28/18: After living here for some time, we have experienced more to change our review.
The master bedrooms share a wall with the other units. This means that if tenants have LOUD SEX, you can hear EVERYTHING. I reached out to management asking them to do something about the noise because it was occurring early morning and waking me up at 6 AM and was told they weren’t sure how to handle it, but to let them know if it keeps happening. Not really helpful.
We keep a fan on in our room to drown out the noise, but it doesn’t always work.
They send out newsletters every month. They advise tenants to communicate with each other regarding noise levels and other concerns. I’m sorry, but when is responsibly that on the tenants, especially when it’s been reported to management? I’m not approaching them and asking them to keep the sex down. That conversation would likely not end well.
In addition, I work from home. I understand that testing the fire alarms is part of maintaining property, but they could at least notify us beforehand. It’s not ideal being on the phone with clients and having the alarm go off when it’s a false alarm. If it were a real emergency, this would be the least of my concerns.
Some of these issues happen at every other complex. Based on our experience, we would still recommend this complex, but it’s not for everyone.

Original Post:
My husband and I have lived at Sterling Pointe for almost 5 months and we love it. It was difficult for us to find a 3 bedroom apartment within our price range, but decided on Sterling Pointe because water, internet, DirecTv, and a garage are all included in your monthly rent, you are only responsible for electricity! Their pet deposit and monthly fee for pets is also reasonable, and they limit to two pets.
Management is also on top of any issues we’ve had. In fact, when we first moved in, our washer wasn’t working and we had quite a bit of laundry to do. Management let us use an empty unit to wash laundry until maintenance could come fix it the next morning.
They are strict on parking, but that’s because parking is limited. Each apartment is allowed one parking spot near your building (not assigned) and then you are expected to use the garage for any second vehicle.
Our neighbors are friendly, consist mostly of young families, and it’s a great environment. There is a little playground and basketball court for children to play on next to the clubhouse building, and there is a gym inside there. Management has also hosted a number of activities for tenants, including a movie on the lawn night where families gathered and watched a movie in the yard near the clubhouse.
The location of the apartment building is conveniently located close to highway 141 which connects you to the interstate, and also close to Johnston High School. Although close to the highway, you cannot hear the traffic from the apartments, but we can sometimes hear the marching band play during the evenings if we are sitting on the balcony during football season, which we enjoy.
