Roaches, roaches, more roaches. Could have your place spotless and still see them. Nightmare from hell. On top of bugs car break in and theft. Trash in hallways. Stay away. Maintenance amazing & office staff cool but you will always have a bug issue here. Then later on if you wanna move good chance you’ll take friends to your next place too. I wish someone woulda warned me.

I genuinely do not feel safe living here anymore. At apartment building 6530, the laundry room on the second floor has caught on fire MULTIPLE times, and at this point it is EXTREMELY CONCERNING. This is not something that has happened just once—it keeps happening in the same laundry area, which makes me seriously question whether the actual cause of these fires are being properly addressed. What concerns me even more is that despite these repeated fires, the laundry room continues to operate. I just do not understand how an area that has repeatedly caught on fire can continue being used without residents being given reassurance that the machines, electrical system, ventilation, and entire laundry area have been thoroughly inspected and determined to be safe. There are laundry rooms located in the same area on the first, second, and third floors, which makes this even more of an issue and much more concerning. If there is an issue with the equipment, wiring, ventilation, or anything else related to these laundry rooms, residents deserve to know that all of them have been properly inspected and not just have everything continue operating as usual after another fire. A fire in an apartment building is EXTREMELY serious. There are families, children, pets, and many other residents living here. Every time this happens, we have to worry about whether a fire could spread beyond the laundry room or whether the next incident could be worse. No one should have to feel anxious in their own apartment wondering when another fire might happen. At this point, this is not just an inconvenience. It is a serious safety concern. After multiple fires in the same location, I would expect the affected laundry room to remain closed until the cause is identified and whatever is causing these incidents is properly repaired or replaced. Temporarily closing the second floor laundry room would not leave residents without other options. Residents on the second floor can use the laundry rooms on the first or third floor, or use a laundromat if necessary. Yes, this may be less convenient, but inconvenience should NEVER be prioritized over the SAFETY of EVERYONE living in this building. There is absolutely no reason to continue operating a laundry room that has experienced repeated fires until there is certainly that it is safe to use again. Residents pay to live here and should at the very least be able to feel safe in their own homes. I really hope management takes this seriously and takes meaningful action before something much worse happens. It should not take someone getting hurt, a pet being trapped, or residents losing their belongings or their homes for repeated fires to be treated as an urgent problem.

We’ve been here just over a month and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. Jazmine was so helpful with getting us set to move in, and the maintenance guys have been great. We’re very happy to be here!

I’ve lived at Somerset twice and enjoyed both times. As a current resident I love that the office staff and maintenance are approachable, and are willing to help outside of their normal duties, they are pleasant to talk to and they make sure any issues are addressed quickly and efficiently
