  After reaching back out, the apartment team helped clear up some of the confusion from my original tour experience. I do feel like I may have read part of the situation wrong at first, and I was eventually able to tour the property. The leasing agent was nice, and the property itself seemed nice as well. The only real issue was that whatever happened with the booking or scheduling process made the initial impression feel less welcoming than expected. I understand that mistakes happen, but the situation did make me feel uneasy at first, especially since people often have to adjust their work schedule to attend apartment tours. My recommendation would be for them to look into the tour booking process and make sure appointments are clearly confirmed on their calendar. For anyone reading this, it may be worth calling ahead before your tour to confirm you are actually on the schedule. A lot of apartments seem to use AI or automated systems to create calendar events now, so confirming ahead of time is probably something I will personally start doing moving forward. Overall, I appreciate them following up, the leasing agent was kind, and the property did seem like a nice place.

  I have lived here for 2 years and am definitely signing on for another year! I love that the hot tub is open year round, maintenance is fast, and the property managers are very responsive. The location is fantastic as well, close to so many restaurants, gyms, etc. and only a short drive from downtown!

  We've had two tours at Ingersoll Square. The first was with Anna and the second was with Yesenia. Both were great. They were friendly, knowledgeable and patient with our questions. A very pleasant experience. Thanks!

  Moved to Des Moines from a different state and living at Ingersoll made me feel right at home. 1: the location is perfect (right next to downtown, walking distance to the bar scene, and close to the interstate if you need to travel). The area is safe. 2: The management is kind, responsive, and attentive. The managers live on property and always responsive even after hours. 3: Maintenance requests are always taken care of quickly and if there are any issues with the unit (I have had very few), it is taken care of. I have ZERO problems with Ingersoll Square and recommend it to anyone looking for a place in Des Moines.
