  I lived at Cityville for two years. During the first year, it was managed by Indigo Living and I would’ve happily given it a 4+ rating. My apartment was beautiful, maintenance issues were dealt with exceptional speed, and all the staff was amazing. The only real downfall was its proximity to the Dart depot. Once new management took over, things went downhill quickly. Dog waste containers were regularly overflowing, maintenance requests took longer and longer, and the pool was unavailable for most of the summer. And sadly, everything Indigo Living did to foster community, like monthly resident appreciation events, disappeared.

  Have had multiple packages stolen at this location. Only solution provided by management was to post a sign asking delivery drivers to deliver packages to resident doors. My packages continue to be stolen after this sign was posted - building management has not offered another solution such as installing cameras or providing a secured package room

  Wonderful amenities, the staff is professional, attentive and truly make this feel like home! Not to mention how convenient the location is! Coffee bar, shuffleboard, billiards, theatre room, fitness center and more!

  I would absolutely recommend Cityville Apartments to anyone in the Des Moines area! The staff I worked with, Niki, Betty, and Collin were wonderful and were very helpful throughout my stay.

  I lived in Cityville for 1 year and I will NEVER recommend that anybody live in this complex under its current management. They do not uphold safety standards and regulations for their buildings and elevators. The property manager is dishonest, unprofessional, disorganized, and holds no accountability when communication fails the tenants. They pressured me with eviction to surrender my keys a month prior to the end of my lease agreement. Maintenance and inspections staff have entered my unit without appropriate notice while I was indecent in my home. No accountability was owned. They are currently threatening me with court because of the final month’s rent payment after they had already retained possession of my unit and disregarded all agreements made prior to the early move-out.
