  I lived at Cityville for two years. During the first year, it was managed by Indigo Living and I would’ve happily given it a 4+ rating. My apartment was beautiful, maintenance issues were dealt with exceptional speed, and all the staff was amazing. The only real downfall was its proximity to the Dart depot. Once new management took over, things went downhill quickly. Dog waste containers were regularly overflowing, maintenance requests took longer and longer, and the pool was unavailable for most of the summer. And sadly, everything Indigo Living did to foster community, like monthly resident appreciation events, disappeared.

  Have had multiple packages stolen at this location. Only solution provided by management was to post a sign asking delivery drivers to deliver packages to resident doors. My packages continue to be stolen after this sign was posted - building management has not offered another solution such as installing cameras or providing a secured package room

  I’ve been a resident for a while and for the size of apartments, cleanliness, responsiveness of staff, and location you can’t beat Cityville! The apartments are walking distance to Grays Lake for bike rides and runs along with being close to Court Ave and restaurants for entertainment! Also, having businesses below the Cityville apartment buildings, including a staple of Des Moines (Chu Chu donuts) is a nice perk too!

  We moved in a few months ago and CityVille has been great. The staff are all really helpful and respond to my emails and phone calls right away. The clubhouse is great and we have reserved a few times for parties and get togethers with friends. PLUS they are building a pool, which should be ready in time for next summer. I would totally recommend living CityVille if you are looking for a place to live downtown DSM.

  Everything you need in a newer apartment complex. Great community area, staff is very nice, and very close to downtown. Pets welcome unlike some other apartments in the area.
