Overall, I’ve had a positive experience living here for over two years. The apartments are new, modern, and while I wouldn’t necessarily call them luxury apartments, they definitely feel like a premium community. Everything looks fresh, I really like the design of the kitchens, and it’s a big plus that each unit comes with a washer and dryer.
The location is another major advantage. It’s very close to Moody while also being close enough to the city center to make getting around easy. For me, that combination has made the location well worth it. I also want to recognize Stephanie, who has always been friendly, professional, and very helpful whenever I’ve had questions or needed assistance.
If I could offer some constructive feedback, there are a few areas that could be improved. First, some of the additional fees aren’t very transparent upfront. For example, there’s the initial $250 community fee when you move in, as well as a 5% convenience fee (around $50) for paying rent by credit card. There are also other smaller charges that can increase the monthly cost shown on the website by roughly $50-$100 beyond the advertised rent. None of these are unreasonable on their own, but I think it would be better if they were made clearer before signing the lease.
Second, the online payment portal is extremely slow. It can take a day or longer to confirm whether a payment has been accepted, which creates unnecessary stress. If there’s an issue with the payment, there’s a real risk of accidentally paying late. I actually experienced this while I was deployed. I logged into the portal on the 4th of the month, thinking my payment had already gone through, only to discover it hadn’t been processed and I was just one day away from the end of the grace period. I had to scramble from deployment to resolve the issue. Thankfully everything worked out, but faster payment processing or immediate confirmation would make a huge difference.
I also wish there were a dedicated 24/7 emergency phone line. Since the property is managed by a larger company, it would be reassuring to have someone available after business hours for urgent issues, especially when there are long holiday breaks.
Finally, the trash area tends to overflow, especially on weekends. Adding another dumpster or increasing pickup frequency would greatly improve the appearance of the community.
Overall, I do enjoy living here. The apartments are attractive, the location is excellent, and the staff has been great. While the rent can feel a little overpriced, I think it’s justified by the location and the fact that the apartments are still relatively new. If management addressed the fee transparency, improved the payment system, added better after-hours support, and resolved the trash issue, this would easily be an even better place to live.
