  I lived at one of PMI’s properties from 2018 until June 14, 2026, and throughout those eight years, I consistently paid my rent on time—and often early. Unfortunately, my experience ended very differently. The apartment flooded twice, once earlier in the year and again before I ultimately moved out. After the second flooding incident, management agreed to release me from my lease and confirmed that I would receive my security deposit as well as $722.15 in prorated rent. I received my deposit, but I am still waiting for the $722.15 prorated rent refund. What has been most frustrating is the lack of a clear resolution. I have made countless phone calls and sent numerous emails trying to get an answer, yet I continue to receive delays rather than a straightforward explanation or payment. After being a loyal tenant for approximately eight years and consistently paying my rent on time, it is extremely disappointing to have to repeatedly chase a refund that was already agreed upon. I feel that I have been victimized twice—first by having to deal with repeated flooding in my home, and now by having to fight to receive money that I was told would be refunded. I expected better from a property management company. Eight years of responsible tenancy should mean something. I hope PMI will finally resolve this matter and return the $722.15 owed to me.
